We popped in for lunch while in Le Mars for work. From the moment you walk in, you know from the smell & layout you're in a BBQ joint. The service is Texas style by weight. Pick your meats & your weight, and then your sides. The brisket & jalapeño cheddar sausage were both really good. I'm partial to Texas style salt-pepper-garlic rub on brisket, but whatever they are using on theirs at Iowa BBQ Co is also good with a slight sweetness that isn't overpowering. It's well-balanced and the meat itself was really moist.
The place is a little pricey, but worth it.

Order early because when it's gone, you are out of luck, and boy will you have missed out. The brisket is excellent and love it in the sandwich with the Missouri molasses BBQ sauce. And while the sauce is very good, the chicken is so good it doesn't need the sauce.
Was going to post a pic of the food... but it disappeared before I could. Awesome food, people, prices, and vibe. Brisket is tender and flavorful all by itself and homemade apple sauce was yummmm. Sauces a plus but definitely not needed.
