The hostess and wait staff were friendly and efficient. The menu had a nice variety of "comfort" food as well as salads and grilled chicken. Breakfast is served all day. The fried pickle chips were delicious.
Second time we were here for breakfast. Food had good flavor. Odd that they only cook hashbrowns on one side. Waitress said you can ask them to cook both sides. They were quite busy but the wait wasn't bad. Table was full with the many plates the food comes on; bacon and pancakes on their own plates not with the rest of the order. Not sure what the solution is. Bigger plates?
Overly crowded. Ate a kids meal and it was plenty and good. I prefer stronger coffee than what was served. All in all a good place to eat comfort food.
My family and I always enjoy our time at Family Table. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is very family friendly, the staff is polite, the food is good, and the prices are ok. I'm a picky eater so I always tend to make substitutions in my meals and they never get it wrong. I ordered a Prime Rib Melt on marble rye with sweet potato fries and we ordered fried pickles for an appetizer.
More like a diner than a family restaurant.
The chili was good as well as the spaghetti. The prime rib was more bread than meat. The burgers looked good probably hand patties.
The pies, especially the pecan & cheesecake, looked like straight out of a freezer box.
Service was good, very attentive server & hostess.
