Family Table Restaurant

Second time we were here for breakfast. Food had good flavor. Odd that they only cook hashbrowns on one side. Waitress said you can ask them to cook both sides. They were quite busy but the wait wasn't bad. Table was full with the many plates the food comes on; bacon and pancakes on their own plates not with the rest of the order. Not sure what the solution is. Bigger plates?

The food was absolutely wonderful!! However this is the 3rd time the staff is not good. The servers we've been having just don't seem to care. No refills, no checking how we are, and walked right past us several times to sit in other booths with fellow diners they knew. Sorry but three strikes and your out. No matter how good the food is service is everything. We won't be coming back. The younger girls did great but the older ones(who we've been getting) are just careless.

Usually pretty good, but downgraded to 3 stars due to difficulty calling in to place a to go order. This happened twice in one week, would call, let the phone ring for a considerable amount of time, then just hang up and go somewhere else. Today, (3/31/22) let phone ring 15 times before I hung up and bought lunch at a competitor that answers their phone in an expedient manner. Since I only have a limited time to take a lunch break, and my last 2 visits that I ordered in store took 25 minutes to prepare my order of eggs, hashbrowns, and toast, I try to call ahead so I have more than 5 minutes to eat and drive back to work.

My family and I always enjoy our time at Family Table. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is very family friendly, the staff is polite, the food is good, and the prices are ok. I'm a picky eater so I always tend to make substitutions in my meals and they never get it wrong. I ordered a Prime Rib Melt on marble rye with sweet potato fries and we ordered fried pickles for an appetizer.

More like a diner than a family restaurant. The chili was good as well as the spaghetti. The prime rib was more bread than meat. The burgers looked good probably hand patties. The pies, especially the pecan & cheesecake, looked like straight out of a freezer box. Service was good, very attentive server & hostess.

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced throughout all 50 states. The front lady directing who goes where is very rude and does not care about who she is talking to no matter a small child too an elderly adult. She has no manners or respect. We witnessed a big family coming in and all because 2 people were not there yet she absolutely refused to seat them. So instead she’d rather have them all waiting up front blocking the entrance waiting on the two people just running a little late. That is absolutely insane and horrible customer service! I have NEVER been to a restaurant that refuses to sit people just because they aren’t all actively there. I watched that poor family then have to wait even longer because the awful women sitting people did not have anywhere to put them. Sorry but I know that family wont be going back but neither will Me and my family and all my friends. Nice start to a new year Family Table Restaurant.
