I would describe it as fancier than a diner but not "fine dining". Close to a Red Lobster type restaurant? It's located kind of randomly on a backwoods highway. Highchairs needed to be cleaned like every restaurant I go to but they had a kids menu so that's good. Very little to eat if you are limited on diet- gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, etc. Restaurant was clean otherwise, quiet, nice decor, clean unique bathroom. Food was not quite what I expected. I got half rack of ribs and there was very little meat and the sauce was crazy sticky. Nothing was bad per say but could have just been a bit better. The Cajun grilled shrimp were the best thing I tasted today. Upon leaving I did see online order pickup parking and drive thru for order pickup I'm guessing?

We love it here. Great customer service. It is nice and cozy in there. My daughter LOVED the chili. The cheeseburger was a little tasteless though and they forgot the cheese for the plain cheeseburger and somehow brought other condiments. Other than that we will definetly be back.

Brass Lantern has great atmosphere, fast, friendly service, great food and great prices.
My wife had the Sirloin Orleans. I had the Cajun Pasta. Service was quick and the waitress checked back periodically to make sure that everything was to our liking, and to see if we needed anything.
After dinner we had a VERY chocolate cake. I think they called it a Hershey Cake. That cake was so good and rich I'd tell all my friends about it, just not my dentist.
The young lady who waited our table was named Alexis. She was polite, accommodating, and represented Brass Lantern very well.
Remember, if you're a vet, go on Veteran's Day. All Veteran's meals are free on that day. It's a long standing tradition with Brass Lantern and a good way to introduce new customers to their experience.

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon, it wasn't really to terribly busy. We waited over the time that was mentioned to us. The hostess was rude, their were empty tables that needed to be cleaned. After we ask for the manager we were finally seated. Our waitress, Cayble was great very informative, prompt, & courteous for our service. She was great about the information on items on the menu & items not available due to lack of organization in the kitchen...The food was very good our waitress was great, but the time that we waited over the mentioned wait time & the rude attitude from the hostess. I'm not sure if I'll return to this restaurant. Very, rude, disorganized, but the food was good. 3 stars ⭐⭐⭐

Took 1:15 minutes on a Thursday evening to get served 3 burgers and fries. We waited for a table for 25 minutes, which I understand. It was obvious that the food had been cooked for a few minutes before it was served to us. It wasn’t cold but definitely not hot. Luke warm at best. Pretty disappointed in the food and time we spent waiting. Service was pretty good…

The Brass Lantern in Highway 64, just out of Lawrenceburg Tennessee has been a staple for years. They offer a good variety of dishes that are sure to please. The service is always friendly and we never never had any issues with the food or staff. The prime rib is a winner. Their fresh hot rolls accompanied by cinnamon spread is a tabletop treat. The Brass Lantern had added a bar and serves. A decent selection of draft beer. The down side for a long time patron is that since Covid they have not resumed the salad bar which, has been an absolute favorite of many for years. "Here's hoping that the salad bar returns soon", fingers crossed.
