Lawrenceburger

I guess I expected more. The place was a little dirty and grimey but that can be forgiven if the food is good. Not so much. I ordered the Lawrenceburger and it was very dry and flavorless, likely because it was cooked well-done. I should’ve ordered it to temp, medium. Then again, I wasn’t asked. The fries were basic frozen fries. A craft burger place should probably have better fries. The Cokes were were flat and syrupy. The staff was good though. I love small places and will go back and I’ll root for them to improve. 4 pity stars.

The wait was too long for a late lunch, but they were understaffed. 1 server at lunch? She tried, but was outmatched. I had a Lawrenceburger with Onion Rings. That's maybe the first time I've had onion rings where every single one was bite-through. No onions pulled out. They were great. My burger had a fried egg, goat cheese, and chipotle sauce. My mistake. Don't order all slippery toppings. Such a mess, but it was delicious. I'll order it again. Next time I'll pull a half dozen napkins beforehand, though, so I'm ready. My only suggestion is to cook the egg a little less so it's runny. Would be more messy and also more delicious.

This was a pleasant find today I had the bbq sandwich with sweet potatoe waffle fries with a maple caramel drizzle. And Cole slaw. This was a 5 star meal and 5 star service from Kimberly. Definitely recommended eatery. Only down fall was the women's restroom needs a paint job and new sealing tiles coming me follow me on social media! #kartiastravels
