23rd Street Brewery

Been there before and had a great experience. Went there today and the waitress didn't write anything down. My son and I ordered build your own pizzas. Both came out wrong. We didn't fight it as they are fellow Jayhawks. But then we both got very sick. Spent lots of time in the bathroom. Something has changed here for the worst.

Went for a work dinner. I did not find much on the menu that sounded appetizing. My husband decided he wanted pizza so I agreed to split the Classic because pizza seemed like a safe bet. It was horrendous. It tasted like expired frozen pizza with a bad case of freezer burn. I picked off the toppings from my piece and that was all I ate. Another couple got pizza and pretty much did the same. Others seemed to enjoy their dinners, so maybe just stay away from the pizza. The service and fried pickles were amazing, though!

I have been coming here since it was 75th street brewery. A couple of years ago the Crimson Fog recipe changed and I changed to the Bitter Professor. Today the beer was just bad. It was not the right color or taste so we exchanged it for the Crimson Fog. That was off in color and taste too. I hope they get it together soon. There are better local beers around. The food is usually good though.

Terrible service. Long wait times before receiving food ordered. Ants crawling on table the entire time. Told waitress 3 different times about ants she would only say I am sorry. Finally after killing 20 or more ants. I asked for the manager. He did nothing!! He did not offer to even discount our meal ticket.
