Winchell's Donuts

Just an overall poor experience. Both breakfast sandwiches were inedible, stale, microwaved soggy messes. My husband enjoyed his chocolate dip donut(so I boosted the review to 2 stars), but my Bavaria cream was in no way fresh and had a hard base/edges. Coffee was fine. Also, the customer service of one of the staff made me feel very unwelcomed.

I just ordered from Uber Eats an hour ago. Right before I called I asked if I can have 6 glazed and 2 lemon filled and the rest it doesn’t matter. The gentlemen said yes. I said I’m about to order UE and I’m calling to see if you have specific donuts. The gentlemen confirmed. He even asked my name. My order just arrived. There is one glazed and the rest are donuts I didn’t ask for. Why say that you can do it and not do it? I’m a paying customer just like everyone else.

Horrible place. They don't know how to make sandwiches and don't know the difference between turkey and ham. I ordered a sandwich and got something completely different than what I ordered. And the lady looked confused to what I was ordering when it's on the menu. A turkey avocado sandwich. I have gone to other locations and ordered and this place didn't know how to make it. I realized when I got home and called and they didn't know what the problem was and was rude on the phone. Never again will we go there and I don't recommend this place.

Okay who doesn’t love donuts. The donuts here are always fresh when we go. We love the Apple fritter, twist chocolate bars, raspberry filling donut, lemon filled donut, and the one with the crumbles on top (don’t know the name of that) but that is one of my favorite ones. Staff is always courteous and at times at checking out seems a bit sketchy at times, because at times it’s cash only and other times I’m able to use my card to check out. (I usually never carry cash on hand) other than that hubby and I found out about pink donuts but still come to this location.
