Taste

Had for the first time. I have to say even getting delivered the food was hot and fresh. The Mongolian Beef was amazing. Not spicy but had spice to it. Very well prepared. Also had the black bean chicken. This was a first for me. Chicken was great. Vegetables we fresh and crisp. All in all very impressive for a delivered food.

Went looking for fried rice that their website quoted a customer as saying was very good. Sorta good is what I found. House rice big on thin strips of beef and chicken but light on vegetables, pork and shrimp. Bland but inoffensive seasoning. Rice cooked just fine. Price reasonable, portions OK. Nothing to rave about. Rates a C.

I went to Taste for lunch and ordered chicken with red chili, pot stickers and veg egg rolls. Service is what you would expect at a Chinese restaurant- below par or non existent I thought I ordered a safe dish as this was any first time. The pot stickers were average. The chicken was inedible - there was an unexplainable taste that made me only take two bites. I told the waitress I was finished and she asked if I wanted to carry out the remaining. I said NO and she was satisfied with my answer. Suffice it to say I will NEVER go back there again. And I did something that I have never done in my life - I did not add a tip to my bill because of their lack of customer service. I have not tried egg roll yet but I am assuming it will be average based on pot stickers.

Came here for lunch and no dim sum here! They have an all day menu. They have Goby Fish (never had it - first time) and they cooked it to perfection; the Goby Fish was not over cooked and flaky. Taste was excellent with the traditional soy sauce and ginger and scallion. Their soft bone chicken (it taste better than the name) was also a first for me but a must try for the creative foodies taste buds. The Tofu and Broccoli goes well with anything, and paired well with the crispy pan fried noodles.

Worst service ever. Hard to get someone to help. Ordered something but the got a different dish. Noticed that later on, and we weren’t expecting the original dish we ordered would still come. After they served the original dish, we told them the mistake and asked them to take it away from our bill because it’s not our mistake. They said ok but still charged us for it. They argued “who promised you” and refused to take it away. HORRIBLE SERVICE ever!!!!
