Joe Philly's Pizza

Quiet, friendly, never overly busy and truly one of the top best for Philly steak sandwiches (I'm a Philly sandwich connoisseur who's traveled every state in the U.S. and these guys have my vote for taste) and calazones ( I order mine with extra ricotta, their Italian sausage, which is slightly on the spicy side, pepperoni, mozzarella and extra side of their seemingly fresh made chunky marinara sauce and it's perfection in Las Vegas!). Good prices. We frequently eat here and recommend it. It's a hidden gem in a desolate "business Park" behind the airport off sunset and Eastern, which makes it a locals secret. Definitely worth trying.

The owners have really tried to spruce the place up. The food is still good and the person who took my order said they still have their old specials that weren't on the menu. We have been going to this place for the last year & half. The pizza is yummy, super greasy, but that's part of the appeal. And the fries are great.

By far, one of the best calzones I have had in Vegas! I love this restaurant. The people are very kind, and the atmosphere is so nice. With a friendly staff, and an awesome array of foods, I am glad to live so close by. I have only been here a few times, but so far I highly recommend any of the dishes. The Calzones and the pizza are so good and reasonably priced, and it is open very late! Awesome place. Can't wait for the grand reopening! Being from New York, this place really makes me feel at home!

My girlfriend and I arrived back at our hotel room and decided to eat despite it being quite late. Approaching midnight, our options were limited to pizza places who either weren’t open, or wouldn’t deliver to our hotel being out of their delivery range. We tried in-hotel room service, only to find that no hot late night menu food wasn’t available because they were “cleaning the hood.” Finally, we came across Joe Philly’s Pizza. Not wanting to waste time, I called to ask if they would even deliver to our hotel (M Resort). The gentleman on the phone politely but frankly said that it would be a bit far for them, but that they could do it. Relieved, we ordered two pizzas near 12:30. The delivery man brought not only what we ordered within the time they quoted, but brought us ground red pepper and Parmesan, forks, knives, paper plates, and napkins! We were both knocked out that they added this touch, having picked up carry-out loads of times with no such things- even though we had asked. The pizzas were delicious, and the service was most polite and considerate. Also, the price for our two pizzas was substantially less than what room service at Cesar’s Palace costs (for less food too). Five star review!

I placed my order and the young man gave me an expected time to pick up my Stromboli's, he said it would take 20min and when I arrived to pick up my order there was 5 min left on my timer. I went to the restroom which was clean, this was a good sign. After washing my hands and walking back to the lobby area the young man had my boxes and I was ready to go. 20min is how long it took for my Stromboli's. I ordered a veggie Stromboli and my hubby ordered sausage and veggies. From both of us, they were delicious. They were so big we saved them for lunch the next day. The price was worth it and when I have a craving for a good Stromboli this will be my spot. I gave this place 4 stars, it was missing that "I'm different factor"... What sets you apart from other pizza spots?
