Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I've been here several times for carryout and have always been very disappointed with the service and items always missing from my order. This time I was pleasantly surprised with the owner's choice of employees. Very quick and friendly service plus everything I ordered was there. What a breath of fresh air compared to previous visits! I did however notice the prices here had a fairly substantial increase. In my case, an order that used to cost me approx. $24 + change was now $27 + change. Nothing seems to be safe from the inflationary trend our country is experiencing these days but it's not enough to keep me away from the best chicken around.

Tue., 10/19/2021: PERHAPS THE PANDEMIC'S TO BLAME A co-worker tried going to Popeyes for lunch, and said she the Drive-Thru line was too long to wait, so she tried going in, but they weren't allowing dine-in, at that time, so she went somewhere else for lunch, but, it was hearing that the line was long, that pîqued my interested, because I haven't eaten at a Popeyes in years, so, I decided to stop-in after work, to find out what the hype was about. In anticipation of a long drive-thru line, I downloaded the app, and learned (later, in the drive-thru) I couldn't place an order, using the app, because this restaurant does not accept orders using this method. The door had a misleading sign, reading, "FACE COVERING REQUIRED. Please help us protect the safety of out team and guests", and another, Hours of Operation, "(Lobby) 10am-8pm, Drive through 10am-10pm", and I was visiting at about 5:50 PM. I tried walking-in, to place my order, and there were no signs on the door indicating no walk-in orders were accepted; I had to knock, for someone to communicate from afar, that orders are only being accept via the drive-thru. I drove to the drive-thru, and let them know it would be helpful, to other customers, for the door to have signage indicating only drive-thru orders were being accepted. The drive-thru menu showed items that were not available, including apple fritters, which had been a factor influencing my decision to buy here, today. There had been a sign near the front door (that I didn't see on the drive-thru menu), reading, "Hate that we're run-in' short. We might be runnin' low on some of your favorite fixins, but we're workin' hard to stock up. Thanks for understanding.". I ordered the '2 Can Dine' order with their mild recipe, mashed potatoes, fries, and 2 biscuits, for $10.84 (tax included). Some of the chicken pieces I received were chewy, and seemed old, but most of them were okay, but there was not consistency in the quality of the chicken I was served. Overall, the drive-thru staff was friendly, given the circumstances beyond their control; however, I don't expect to return here, until the next time I forget what my experience here was like.

Orders are not being bagged correctly, they're not paying attention to details with the meals, such as a shrimp meal should come with some type of cocktail sauce which was not provided in the bag!! and to lose a main ticket item such as the Cajun Rice is absolutely unreal and a total let down😠 I don't think I'll be frequencing Popeyes ever again😖 the prices are astronomical and you don't get the best of food anymore😠😖 it's never a good thing to have to go back and return your food once you've driven all the way home!!! sadly disappointed customer 😠

We arrived to use the restroom and order lunch on our way out of town. However the restaurant smelled awful and only got worse as you moved closer to the restrooms. Neither my fiance nor myself were able to use the bathroom due to the condition they were in. The men's restroom had feces everywhere and the women's restroom had blood all over the toilet. The staff did not seem to be doing anything other than standing around but there was plenty of food under the heat lamps and a line of upset customers ahead of me. We ended up leaving without ordering.
