Even though the presentation of the food is lack of glamour, the flavors of the food are great! My friend and I ordered 3 lunch special items one garlic clam regular priced dishes. Yummy! Including a generous 25%tip, the bill was only $60….With a big $8.95 lunch special menu, and still tasty food, I’ll for sure come back for more…
A lovely late night dinner
1. General Tso's delicious chicken
2. Salt and pepper chicken wings
3. Fish filet in black bean sauce (reading this makes me want to hear the Wu Tang clan work it in as a lyric in one of their songs)
4. The amazing eggplants. I don't even get down with eggplants but this was so good I must insist you try it.
Happy hour kicks in at 10pm. Do it, you cabbages!
Five stars is a lot but this is specifically for happy hour. $8 a dish, doing it family style...low cost, big portions, and adequate service.
I would say service might be the only weakness here but if you've been to enough Chinese restaurants, you'll be familiar with the no frills nature of it.
We also went when it wasn't very busy, but hopefully it's adequate when you go and you don't feel like dinging them for it.
This place is fixing to be a part of @hungeeboi_nv on ig's regular rotation. (yes, I just referred to myself in the third person, it's 2019, we're gonna be extra! extra! read all about it! this year (do young ppl even get that reference?) shouts to my excessive and improper use of parenthesis)
Shouts to @dongkyuverymuch and his lovely wife for the introduction.
Excellent food, descent service waitress was kind of rude but overall great experience
Looking for a late night Chinese serving San Francisco home favorites like rice porridge with fish and Hong Kong style noodles. This place did not disappoint! Very tasty and prompt friendly service! Highly recommend, especially when you are craving that midnight snack!
Always take my family here. After 8pm they have reverse happy hour which is lunch prices again from 8pm til 6am closing. And from 11-3 is lunch prices. From 4 to 8 is dinner prices. Come during happy hour for authentic Chinese dishes from $5.50 to 7.50 . Large portions. I love yang chow fried rice, crispy noodle with chicken, and yakisoba soft noodle with beef at $5.50 can't beat that!
Update 7-6-2022
New owner, repaint inside, much brighter, food is still delicious, good price, must try , can't beat the lunch special price
Great food for the money, get the lunch special...it is till 5:00 pm.. food taste delicious and the price is way cheaper from the strip..
Loads of food! All delicious! I'm vegetarian and there are plenty of non meat items as well! Love the green beans. My friends loved everything!!!
My family and I were in Vegas for a family members wedding and had a taste for some quality authentic Chinese food. That's exactly what we experienced. The place was clean. The food was very tasty seasoned just right.
The waiter Mike was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu absolutely outstanding 5 star customer service. We definitely will be eating there again. 😊
We always enjoy dining at HK Seafood Garden for so many years even during the time of the old management (Tin Tin - Lady Manager). Now, it's under new management after a careful renovation of the place/restaurant. We'd visited it once under the new management and menus and food are still deliciously the same. I made reservations to eat there this week with over 10 of us.keep up the good quality HH.
Most lunch specials are about $9 a plate and I usually would go there for my usual pork chops, chowmain, and chowfun with gravy. I have not tried other items on their menu. So far very delicious. Parking is plentiful. Went there just a few days ago and they r close indefinitely for renovations.
