Capriotti's Sandwich Shop

Update: we just returned to Las Vegas and the first thing I did after checking into the resort was go get a medium cheesesteak. It was every bit as wonderful as I remembered. I will next get a classic Italian sub, and at least one more cheesesteak this week while I am in town. I am a huge fan of traditional cheesesteak sandwiches, particularly with white American cheese. This shop makes a fantastic cheesesteak, with your choice of grilled onions, sweet or hot peppers and mushrooms. Their other sandwiches are just as delicious! I also tried their Italian and my daughter had their pastrami. Everyone in my extended family loved their sandwiches, including my wife with her veggie turkey sandwich. I tried the veggie turkey and it tasted just like roast turkey! I will definitely be back whenever I am in Las Vegas.

I like their sandwiches. My wife and I go to Capriotti's every time we are in vegas. We've been to a few of them. This place was a little dull in decor and they dont take your order unless you pay cash...at least at this one location. So I input the order and paid, which felt like forever. The sandwiches came and we left. The food is terrific....but they didnt get the order right put onions on a sandwich and then gave is the wrong sizes. It was too late to turn back so we just enjoyed what we got. Check out Capriotti's...if you visit this one...maybe pay with cash.

Understand that this review is based off other sandwich places. When it comes to getting a sandwich, it seems like you have a million options and each one can offer you something similar but different. At Capriotti's, you get something that is completely unique! Their sandwich's taste like a home cooked meal with a piece of bread on each side. They are very hearty sandwiches and WILL fill you up, so be ready to leave in a food coma. Great place to stop for a filling sandwich.
