This is that something different. The food is great and they even serve alcohol beverages (sake', soju, beer). Atmosphere and art work are appreciated as well. A modern style that millinials can enjoy but still family friendly., I will be returning and recommend this restaurant.
1st time trying Japanese fondue. Was surprisingly good. I was full even tho it wasn't a huge meal. I never had so much trouble with chopsticks before. Gave up and used a fork. Deserty was delicious. The owner Joe Coy stopped in and came over to greet us. Even took several pics with us. Great dining experience. Will do it again.
This place was pretty cool. You pick your broth, meat or veggie, sauces, and rice. You cook your entree in the broth and dip in the sauce. If you've never been there or done anything like this, the chef can offer help. My piece of advice: dont get the salmon, at least not on the first try. It takes a seasoned technique! They also offer amazing desserts, but we didnt get a chance to try those. Definitely next time!
This place is amazing, staff makes it a fun experience, I have not been to another shabu shabu place and don't have a comparison or a base to make a solid statement on quality. However the meal is as delicious and the experience lovely. Therefore I would have to encourage you to try this if you haven't before. I selected Tonkatsu broth, Prime rib geisha portion and ponzu sauce. It was overall very pleasant, portion was filling for the price which is on the medium to high end of a casual evening. Expect to spend about $20 to 30 unless you select Wagyu beef.
Our favorite spot right now! Great food that fills you up, perfect lunch/dinner atmosphere and awesome people to help you enjoy your Japanese Fondue experience.
Yojie was a great experience with food to match. The design is classy, sophisticated and kept very clean. Vegas has lots of strip mall restaurants so it can be difficult to differentiate but the team at Yojie has made something special that I hope to enjoy for many meals to come.
Yojie Japanese Fondue is a slick, modern, and clean restaurant. The design of the restaurant effectively utilizes the small space. I love the elegant presentation and attention to detail in the restaurant's layout, menu, and food presentation.
First, you select your meat. I ordered the Yojie's Cut. Second, you select your broth. I ordered Tonkatsu Broth. Third, you select a size. I ordered a Sumo (extra large). Fourth, you select two dipping sauces. I ordered Ponzu and Goma. Orders come with a bowl of rice and a bowl of vegetables and noodles. You can get free refills of broth, dipping sauces, and rice.
The meat was fresh and not frozen, like at some hot pot restaurants. The broth was not the best I have had, but was pretty good. My favorite thing is that each person gets their own broth and own heating plate for their broth, whereas many hot pot restaurants require people to share broths.
Overall, I was not wowed by the food, but I loved the presentation and concept.
I was a little hesitant at first, but after eating here I am changed. This place is amazing, great food, awesome taste. Well worth it.
Fresh. Food was delicious. Enjoyed the new experience of cooking with your own personal steam pot... very cool. I like the simple 2 step menu. Unfortunately, I brought my 13 year old son who has high allergies to shellfish so he could only experience just a steam pot with plain boiling water without any flavors. 😔 I wish the wait staff had some better suggestions to what type of seasonings he can use, especially when we told him that this was our FIRST visit-- BUT the restaurant was under staffed. My bf had to ask for his Arnold Palmer twice before he received it. Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. Great music! The waiter did offer a discount card to me for my next visit and apologized for the understaffing.
This was a great little place for dinner. Went with a large group and they were able to accommodate us pretty quickly. Food was very good, and had a vegetarian option. But the best part about the visit was the service. The servers were very hard working, always checking in on guests, and very accommodating. Highly recommended for a spot off the Vegas strip!
Yojie is a very clean and friendly environment. Every time we eat here the staff is always friendly. We have never had a bad meal. Reasonably priced lunch specials is always a plus and they have many to choose from. Kelsey the manager is a great asset to the company. She is very professional.
Absolutely amazing and unique experience in Vegas. Excellent value and exceptional quality. We are always completely satisfied and full! A traditional winter meal but just as delicious and refreshing in the summer heat. The owner is incredibly kind, personable, and local!
