Sammy's Woodfired Pizza

Once again, huge shout out to Sammy's checking all the boxes for a great dining experience! We were in the mood for a salad and decided to give one of our favorite places a try. I have seen the delicious salads listed on the menu before, as we often come in for the amazing Happy Hour offered daily, but had never tried any of the salads. Upon entering the restaurant, we were promptly greeted with a friendly smile and bubbley hello by Lindsey, who ended up bring our awesome server. We started with some Crispy Spring Rolls, couple of waters and two Raspberry Martinis...we simply cannot visit Sammy's without having one, they are soooo yummy! After going back n forth between several delicious sounding salads, we both oddly enough decided on The Bob's Cobb. It is served with a Basil Ranch dressing and I wasn't sure about it, Lindsey brought out a small sample for me to taste...SOLD, I even used the remainder to dip my Crispy Spring Rolls in! I highly recommend The Bob's Cobb, that is one damm delicious salad that I will DEFINITELY me ordering more often! Lindsey is definitely a great addition to the Sammy's team...we thank you Lindsey & the entire Sammy's crew for all you do and ALWAYS being AWESOME!!!

This was a tough review. Keep in mind this is a vegan oriented restaurant if you were curious. We came in during happy hour (1pm-5pm) and if we didn't the price we would have paid would have made the trip disappointing. The pizzas are considerably small, beware this is you're looking for typical pizza. Their four cheese was tasty, but their Margherita pizza was just the garlic bread but with tomatoe slices. Their truffle fries were amazing. I don't see myself coming back because of the prices, but if you're all about vegan food then I'd suggest this joint.

I for the life of me. I do not know how I stopped eating to write this review. The food is AMAZING!!! New York style pizza. Meat Balls Chicken Wings. All out of this world. Our server Stephanie is so kind and attentive. Super nice. A real PROFESSIONAL. The Chef took the time to acknowledge our visit. Everyone was so nice. Definitely one of our local favorites. If you read this review make sure you give Sammy's a try. You'll be glad you did.

First time coming to Sammy's. Decent prices nice clean restaurant. Most importantly the kids enjoyed it. My husband and I got a goat cheese pizza with mushrooms, olives and spinach. It was light and tasty. They have a nice pizza crust with a smokey taste. All in all it was nice; $40 for a family of 4 is a great deal.

Our server deserves praise for her spirit and her hustle. Management left her practically alone to handle 12 tables most of which were 3 and 4 tops. She never missed a beat and kept her pleasant demeanor. This one goes out to the store manager, get your shift leaders in line when it comes to staffing, no one should be left alone with 12 tables.

We recommend! The atmosphere is great for family outings and excellent for romantic dates. The pizza was very, very good..!! The Burrata Pesto was amazing; gooey delicious cheese, excellent tomato sauce, and the pesto with the burrata cheese was a perfect pairing. My husband got the Three Cheese pizza. He is a gouda fan, and he was not disappointed. We shared both pizzas and it was thumbs up all around. Creamy and golden brown cheese with a good crust, yum. That's all we tried tonight and we are definitely coming back to try more. I appreciate that they have wraps, sandwiches, burgers, and amazing sides. Please try the Crab and Lobster Dip. If you love seafood, that one is a must try. Our waitress was very kind, professional, and took very good care of us. Never once did we need to stop our conversation and look for her, she came to us even before we needed her refill our waters, ask if everything was okay, and if I needed to wrap my left overs. She was on top of it, if your waitress' name is BOW, you are blessed. I had one slice of pizza left and she wrapped it in aluminum foil that looked like a purse, it was creative, fun, and pretty! We'll be back for sure.

A little out of our way but my wife and I enjoyed our meal. We went on wed at 8 pm and it was not bussy. I dont know if weekends are more bussy. But we where sat right away. Our waitress was nice and polite. She made suggestions on food items. We are not alchohol people and the wine list was not shoved down our thought like most places do. (Really appreciated that) we ordered a salad, the asian sampler, and a margarita pizza. The salad was good. But it's a salad so not much to comment on. The asian sampler was just so so it tasted good but was just there nothing special (we wont order it again nothing wrong with it) and the pizza was a good size. Cooked well but again its pizza not much to comment about. Over all we liked it.

I love this place. And I actually stumbled on it by accident. I love the decor. The food was amazing. I had the Mahi Fish Tacos, fabulous! Staff was friendly and helpful. Price is spot on. They have outdoor seating. Restrooms were clean and we'll stocked. Baby changing table available in the mens room. I believe they had just celebrated their 30 year anniversary. Great place for groups and younger family members. Located in the Arroyo Place shopping center. Easy access and plenty of handicap parking. Definitely will be back.
