Our friend from LA introduced us here and we have been coming to this spot ever since. This restaurant is my go-to for some good sushi in Vegas. We always bring our out-of-town fam and friends here and it never disappoints.
My last 3 visits here, I got the 15 piece Toku-Jo Sushi. The pieces you get are prime and always so delicious – including, uni, ikura, tamago, and toro. The service is straightforward and great, and you can also see the sushi chefs (who are really friendly) doing their magic at the sushi bar. I've tried the following appetizers (tempura, uni tempura, grilled cod, five kinds of mushroom, seared Scottish salmon sashimi salad) and it was all delicious – so pick whatever sounds good to you, I don't think you can go wrong here.
Parking is easy and plenty, and location is pretty unassuming, but so worth the drive if you're coming from far. You definitely need to make reservations here, and they have a set time of when you can call, so make sure you check on their website. The restaurant is pretty small and intimate, and the ambiance is def clean, quiet with Japanese flair. I have yet to sit at the sushi bar, due to the size of my party, but that is my goal for a future visit.
In A Nutshell:
-Sushi Hiroyoshi is a non-descript sushi restaurant located in an older strip mall off Charleston Rd.
-Expect to order their omakase if you want a real culinary adventure for the next 1+ hours or so.
-Before I forget it's highly advisable to reserve a table ahead of time.
-I once attempted to enter without one & was turned away b/c the seating is very limited & this place is pretty popular.
-With that being said, the restaurant itself it's very fancy exterior or interior-wise, all of the effort is on hiring the best sushi chefs who prepare the finest presentation.
Overall, this is a good date night spot for anyone who really loves the entire experience of high-quality sushi.
This was the very best sushi we've had, ever. That's after forty-five years of sushi restaurants. Hiro was very personable and he had a very wide selection of offerings. This is a traditional Japanese sushi Bar. Not for those who want giant rolls with sauce. You will need a reservation as they don't serve walk ins.
This place is the best sushi in town. Make reservations. Is really small. Authentic Japanese food. Excellent service. I will be back for the omacasi.
I’ve eaten sushi all over the world, in almost every US state and many countries, Japan included. This is in my Top 5. Don’t get rolls. Get raw nigiri and unagi. Uni was all time best. Unbelievable. Not too expensive either, although I got everything and spent a fortune 😬
Decent food and friendly waiters(ress). Very pricey for a 6-course omakase. Chef is somewhat rude in some way.
An amazing hidden gem. Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, the sign out front only says "Sushi." That's it, that's the only warning. Small inside, nothing too fancy. But the food and service are unlike any strip mall sushi restaurant I've ever been to.
The menu small and mostly focused on nigiri & sashimi. There are a few rolls and kitchen entrees but the traditional Japanese style sushi is clearly their specialty. We got the Toku-Jo Sushi 12 & 15 piece nigiri plate. The quality and selection was amazing. From O-Toro to Santa Barbara Uni, it was what you would expect at a high-end, LV strip restaurant for 2-3X the price. Great selection of Japanese beers and sakes were also available too.
I need to mention that the service was impeccable, again what you might expect at a much more up-scale place.
So, as much as I don't want to expose Sushi Hiroyoshi to the rest of the world and keep it to myself, it's absolutely worth five-stars and a visit
Without a doubt - no questions asked - the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to in my life and top 5 all around restaurant of all time. The waitresses are appropriately attentive, the sushi is out of control authentic, and you truly feel like you’re family! Really genuinely enjoyed my meal from start to finish! Highly recommended!
I’m pretty sure this was the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. First of all, our waitress was the loveliest & gave great recommendations. Her passion & knowledge was so wonderful! All staff were so kind & attentive. And the sushi. WOW the sushi. Just sensational. There is truly none better. What a phenomenal meal. I will be savoring this meal until we can return to Vegas and come back.
I'm so happy I found Sushi Hiroyoshi.. we got their $100 omakase.. and it was one of the most amazing sushi dinners I've had in Vegas.. everything.. from the presentation, the kind & warm service.. uni in 3 of the courses, foie gras, miso cod, sashimi, super unique Japanese omelettes & homemade tofu.. and the best lychee sorbet.. so divine! Definitely recommend making reservations:)
