The food is amazing had the beef combo and veggie combo. Together the combos feed a party of four. This family Ethiopian restaurant has a lot of potential. It's a small venue which makes it great for a few friends or a night out with your significant other. What it lacks in decore the dishes make up for. Make sure you start your meal off with a few veggie samosas.
The place to go if you want an authentic Ethopian restaurant experience! We should know, because of our family origins and long standing habit to try all Ethiopian restaurants in the farthest places we can find 😁. If you've never tried the regional cuisine, go for the sampler menu and ask for a lamb or chicken wot on top. Be advised: you must learn to use njera (soft flat breat) in place of knives and forks, because that's the way you must eat 😄. Very affordable and kind and friendly staff on top of everything!
Very tasty and friendly. Had the veggie combo. Great flavors. Staff were very nice.
An excellent meal and very welcoming to folks new to Ethiopian cuisine. Get the sampler platters (Yenat Guada and Westay) for a little bit of everything. The lentils (red, green, and mashed yellow) were just amazing! I'm not a huge lentil fan (sorry, Hippie Neil), but I'd happily eat these every day. Everything was just outstanding.
I had a lamb dish and I ordered rice to go with it. It comes with a salad and bread. It was very good. There are even hot coals on the bottom of the dish that keeps the food warm. The food was delicious and the server was awesome, give this place a try!!!

Good to try once instead ok trying asian restaurants
First time here and it was sooo good! Went around 1:40pm on a Tuesday, and there was no wait at all. The lamb and spicy beef are a definite must! The sambusa was also really good! We got the mixed platter too and I have no complaints. The restaurant is small and intimate with outdoor seating as well. I heard the coffee was really good but I opted for the red wine. I will definitely be returning to experience the coffee ceremony.
Our server was really helpful and patient in helping my fiance choose a dish for his first time trying Ethiopian food, and he loved it. I had the veggie combo and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back.
Super good food and great service. It does take a little while to get the food, but we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. We were simply laughing and joking with the staff, so we hardly noticed the longer wait. Plus the food by itself would make up for that anyways. Such a unique and delicious dining experience!
My boyfriend and I really enjoy Ethiopian cuisine and this was definitely one of the best places we have had Ethiopian food. The portions are very large and the food is full of flavor. The staff is also super friendly and the owner was very kind. I would highly suggest coming here if you are interested in having great food and a fun experience.
