Windy City Beefs N Pizza

Food is always great...a taste of hometown Chicago. Authentic hot dogs right down to the sport peppers and poppy seed buns. Great Italian beef. And top notch, thick cheese-stuffed pizza. And some new crew members who don't keep their snoots in the air. One fly in the ointment though: if you want your juice (gravy) on the side for your $10 to-go Italian beef, it's still an extra quarter for the to-go cup. (Kinda petty if you ask me )

Just needed a bite to eat and stumbled upon Beefs"nPizza. They have a fantastic menu, and I will be back to taste other items! I initially ordered the Chili cheese fries and WOW! The fries by themselves are great. Thanks, Mary Jo & staff. Placed my order, and it was at my table in less than 10 minutes. I appreciate this kind of service and with dishes that also taste good......WIN, WIN!!!

The beef was terrific, giardiniera was authentic. It's great to see that they didn't skimp on the gravy! But what I was disappointed about was their pizza, if you order pepperoni, they take a slice of cheese that had been sitting for awhile and put pepperoni in top and reheat which you can tell as the bottom was a bit burnt and you don't taste the pepperoni in the cheese or Dough. You can also tell as the taste is like reheated pizza and not fresh. Otherwise the atmosphere was great and decorated with true Chicago stuff. I would go again but probably stay away from the pizza.

This small place is really good! My go to is the chicago dog combo which comes with fries and a drink. The polish dog is also really good and my husband likes the chicken fingers tossed with chicago hot sauce. The food always tastes great and the service is always friendly. They can get pretty busy, especially around lunch time. If you're a person that likes ranch with your fries, do it at this place, tasty ranch. I definitely recommend this place, especially if you're a hot dog fan.
