I do like the chicken wings, so much so that I bought a box of crack chicken batter to make my own at home. I have not tried the fresh fish and not sure if I ever will.

The catfish and jumbo shrimp were cooked to perfection. Love that you can choose between soft or hard fry and heavy or light seasoning.
The chicken was great except for 3 pieces (big drums) weren't fully done. I live 3 hours away so I couldn't just pop back to take it back but they are an amazing place and I will most definitely be back.
The service was amazing. Very knowledgeable and they waited til I got there to cook the shrimp for my order which was great. Everything was hot and delish even by the time we got to families house 15 mins away.
Called in a Togo order for the hubs and picked it up on the way home. Highly recommend!

They are getting better. This new generation leading the place is doing their best to keep in business with a good reputation. I still remember back in the past how I was forced to throw an entire order away because the fish was in a pretty advanced state of putrefaction. Hope this never happens again!!!!! This new blood looks like they know that reputation is better than money in the long run. Folks, a good reputation is what's going to keep you in business and standing out from the crowd. This place is great: their fish is delicious, their potatoe salad is good. And best of all, their prices are good as well. Hardly anywhere can you get a sandwich for under 5$. My one complaint is that they need buns instead of bread.

Everything I've had here is great. Usually pretty quick, definitely try the Cod or Catfish. Their hush puppies are amazing, along with some fried mushrooms. Don't forget some franks hot sauce. You won't regret eating here.
