Peru's Charbroiled Chicken

The Chicharron de Pollo was good. The sides were good too. The atmosphere is lively and the waitre / waitresses are generally nice. They have a good selection of munchies that anyone can choose from. The spot is a little interesting to drive into and drive out of... But all is good once there. Need to try the Ceviche

The owner and staff were very personable and friendly and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food they give you. I had enough for leftovers for at least a day or two! I had the grilled salmon and it was amazing!!! Enjoyed the string beans as they were very flavorful and cooked just right. My husband had the chicken and said it was very delicious. We are definitely coming back!

Sad it burned down. Hopefully will reopen. Food is great. Most of the employees are too. One petite lady with excessive make-up denied my coupon for some reason. (it was not expired). I'm a lifelong resident of Lanham and appreciate a fresh alternative to fast food. Tastefully designed decor / interior. Only complaint... if they re-build..... please paint the outside of the building with neutral tones... the purple and yellow did not look good.

The food is delicious and very flavorful. I really enjoyed the mixed vegetables and rice with cilantro. The white garlic sauce and spicy green sauce are excellent and the perfect addition for a kick. The plaintains were not the best and the service is not the friendliest. However, I will definitely be returning.

One of my best experiences I’ve ever had. I had the two chicken kebabs with corn and fries side. The corn was a whole corn on the cob cut in half and the fries were store bought. But the chicken kebabs (you get 3 skewers with rice and two sides) were amazing. I’ve lived in Texas for over 15 years and these kebabs was one of the few that was able to rival the chicken from there. The chicken was tender and juicy with just enough seasoning to not overpower the natural chicken taste. The charred grill on the outside added an amazing contrast and texture as well. The rice was well done as well. Because I had my order to go, some of the juice from the chicken and seasoning permeated it and infused the rice with the flavor of the chicken (there was still plenty left inside the chicken itself). The most impressive thing was the sauce (I had the white garlic). At first I was concerned that the server gave me too much sauce containers, but I later learned that this was completely justified. The moment I tasted the sauce, I wanted to slather everything in it. Even the mediocre fries and corn was elevated by the sauce. The sauce added a tangy, cool, non-overpowering garlic flavor to both the chicken and rice that created an amazing contrast to the charred outside. 10/10 will have dinner there again.
