OUTSTANDING, MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT. The atmosphere at this place is amazing, I order at least one meal every saturday. And no one can beat the prices,and the food is the best.
This is a small breakfast and bbq place that any native of Lancaster recognizes as a staple for the community. It's family owned and Mike really gets to know his customers as his extended family. They knew my grandmother's order by heart when she was able to eat there and they always have awesome breakfast when I'm able to go. I get the turkey egg and cheese on Texas toast.
Great!. Some of my favorite BBQ. Especially the stuffed baked potato with chopped beef and sauce.

the omlet i ordered was absolutely the best ive had in a while. I love how the biscuits are hot n ready. the hash browns are perfectly fried where you get a good crunch. Absolutely bussin
Legit 'hole in the wall's kinda place. The brisket, baked beans, and BBQ sauce were legit. The potato salad was a little heavy on the vinegar for my taste. Popular place! Lots of folks coming in for take out.

They have some goooood food period. The customer service is awesome. This place is my number 1 go to near me. I've tried other local BBQ restaurants and they quality of the food as well as the customer service has severely declined. BUT, HICKORY HOUSE has been consistent with their great food and customer service🥰🥰🥰 love this place. Getting ready to go there as I type this review..🤣
This is a little family owned place that I personally heard about through coworkers and friends. So literally the next day I went off and walked around to corner to check it out. Was instantly greeted by one of the owners to the sight of a lot of good looking food at a low price! The other owner shortly came out afterwards and he has A SENSE OF HUMOR lol. I wasn't expecting it, but it really brightened up my cold cloudy day. I got the chicken fried steak, stuffed potato, pecan pie, and a stuffed bbq potato, and everything was so good I could've eaten it twice! Definitely want to return to check out the breakfast menu which is just as good, if not better, than the lunch menu. Great work guys and thank you!
This is one of those unassuming places without much curb appeal, and furnishings are not why you go. You go for the brisket. It. Is. Delicious. Some of the best I've ever had. The sides like green beans and toast (Texas toast everywhere but IN Texas?) were fine, and peach cobbler was good, but the brisket. Melt in your mouth tender with slightly crisped edges. A+++
I love going here fast quick friendly service Mike is the funniest guy ever by the way he’s the owner after his father passed it down but when I tell you he makes you feel right at home. I love his breakfast he even has grits I’m Louisiana girl so I love grits and love the cheeseburgers and fries so juicy 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
