Took my mother here for her birthday, and was SO not disappointed! The atmosphere could have used a little music, but other than that it was clean and we'll decorated. The menu had an amazing variety, our server Lauren was on point without being overbearing (been serving 20 yrs, and I will request her every time now), and the food was flawless.

Lovely steak and cocktails. Standard American fair with a few surprising exceptions. Lamb meatballs and filet were two of my favorites.
I would say it's one of the best hamburgers you can buy in Lancaster. I ate upstairs, atmosphere is very friendly clean and nice bartender. Nice selection of beers easy parking I would definitely go back
First time visiting this place and have to say it was an amazing experience. Service was top notch and food was delicious. The wild mushroom pizza was by far the best pizza I have ever eaten. You can tell all ingredients are fresh and perfect blend of flavors. We also loved the chocolate fondue dessert. My wife and I are vegetarians and the waiter and waitress were both extremely accommodating. We had a great time and will definitely be returning. Be sure to reserve in advance. It gets booked up on weekends.
Wonderfully inspired food. New management has even improved the menu. We both had the specials- one fish and one meat, both excellent and I novative. The dessert of baked bread pudding with rosemary and vanilla ice cream was sublime. Excellent customer service as usual. We'll be back.
My girl friends and I shared a meal and some drinks at Carr's last Saturday. Our food was exception. I had the wild mushroom ravioli and between the ravioli itself and the fresh veggies that were abundant on the plate, it was probably one of the best meals I've had in some time. Our drinks were delicious and the gentlemen who waited on us was attentive and so much fun. Wonderful experience, we will definitely be back.
Lovely restaurant right off of a quiet cobblestone side street in the center of the town of Lancaster! Perfect for a nice dinner or special occasion. Very pretty dining room and bar area. Smart casual or dressy. Food was wonderful! Recommend trying the ravioli....to die for! Drinks were very good and fruit tart dessert very fresh. Our server was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful, friendly and sweet as could be!
Great food and drinks! Our dinner was perfect. Crab cake well seasoned but not too much filler, filet very tender and perfectly cooked. The Christmas Mule was the best cocktail I've had in years, half our table ordered it after trying ours. Good service, and we were there during the Santa Stumble so they were packed.
One odd thing, they apparently have a policy of not offering their specials to parties of 6 or more. They made an exception at our request, which we appreciated! But strange policy and I hope they reconsider for the future; I almost always go with a special at a place like this.
Great family or date night! Quiet, well placed tables, soft lighting, and artistic comfortable environment...that's just to start the evening! The food was prompt and delicious, not an over complicated menu but quality ingredients were used by an obviously well-oiled machine that is the kitchen team! Definitely well priced for all the accommodations and convenience of 2 hour prior reservations for 4 on a Saturday evening! Excellent cocktails by a well seasoned and personable mixologist! Our server and assistant were engaging and very cordial, definitely not helicopters and yet on point for refills and requests! Highly recommend this staple of Lancaster City, popular well before the current influx of new restaurants in the area, there's a reason they have the tenure they do! Well done! Birthday celebration. Everything was spot on! Corn crab chowder beautiful presentation and delish! There were 3 of us - each with a different entree all were sublime! Dessert and coffee too.. I believe this business is one week open but felt like a well run team. Jamie thank you for your hospitality! Definitely will be back.
