This small hidden gem in Lakewood borough has gourmet style Spanish food . The service is excellent and the food is delicious! The tres leches (3 milks)desert is beautifully presented, but more importantly it is amazingly mouth watering. The grilled meats and perfectly seasoned stews keep me coming back. Definitely worth the trip.
We found this place by accident looking to grab a bite before a show at the strand. Place doesnt look like much, but the aromas as we walked in convinced us to try it. Glad we did!
We unfortunately confused the staff, thinking we had time to sit and eat but wound up changing it to go. Our server was so great, though, and she made everything work for us.
I had a Cubano sandwich that was SOOOOOO good, and my son had the penne w/chicken: it was LOADED with chicken.
The prices were very good and the food was worth every penny.
If we're ever in the area again, we will come with plenty of time to sit and relax and stuff our faces with this delicious and authentic Mexican food!
I came here with some friends and we wanted to try as much as we could. We were all blown away by the selection, and the incredible taste. I've been here a few times but this time the Bandeja Tipica stood out to me as a must try.
We went here for lunch and were not disappointed. Definitely try the Cuban sandwich or the chicken sandwich both were excellent. Two of us had homemade meals for $20 and there were absolutely no complaints. We will be visiting again to try the tacos. I highly recommended this place.

Cute little hole in the wall restaurant located in Lakewood with great food. My daughter loves the yellow rice with steak and onions (she doesn't eat beans). I like the spicy pork tacos and the fish broth (can't remember the correct Mexican name). The guacamole is a hit or miss tho, but I'm definitely going back.
First time here. The venue is a little of a dive but the quality of food was very good! I ordered the carne asada street tacos and they were on point!.
The steak tacos are amazing! Great food and service.
