Service was excellent and the food was sublime. The fish was prepared perfectly and came piping hot! The vegetables we fresh, hot, prepared perfectly! Can't recommend this place enough!
First visit to the Lucky Pelican! There were so many cars in the lot, it appeared to be very crowded, However, we quickly found a close-by spot, and were seated within minutes of arriving inside. Comfortable, clean, nothing fancy but pleasant.
Our food was delicious. We ordered fish and chips and the roasted cod with Asian sesame glaze, vegetable pancakes, and tempura veggies. I don’t know what I expected it to look like, but was surprised when it arrived - beautiful presentatio! Next time I think I’ll order it with the sauce in the side. Don’t get me wrong, it had a delicious, sweet flavor but it was just a little much for my taste, and the tempura veggies lost their crisp.
My only complaint would be the noise factor. If they could find a way to dampen the din a bit, that would make it an even better experience!

Cute place, good food and attentive staff. One of our party got a migraine and the staff were really quick to pack up our food to go and get the bill paid so we could get them home. Thank you!

I don't know how to give this place enough praise! It is one of our all time favs. I would give it a 6th star if that was an option. Service is amazing, everyone there is so professional and everything about this place is just awesome. Get there early as Lucky Pelican is always busy but thats not a bad thing in our eyes. Outdoor seating is available also! No reservations which honestly we prefer. I would wait 2+ hours to eat here in all honesty. My wife doesn't even bother with looking at the menu anymore, the Sake Glazed Seabass is her all time favorite thing and this will more than likely never change. My inner child comes out a bit here because in my opinion they have the all time best fried shrimp, and sure you might be thinking, its just fried shrimp but it is so much more than that. Light crispy amazing batter, shrimp is always and I mean always just plump and juicy! Love their Fries! If you haven't eaten here please go! Don't think twice..you'll thank me.
I’m kind of bummed i’ve only been there twice. definitely gonna put more time in that place,their service was excellent. Food was awesome. I was happy to see somebody with a very well mannered service dog. it gets very very busy there.
We’ve been here 3 times and every time it was good. We tried several entrees , and I especially like the panko crusted haddock, sea bass, clam chowder.
We enjoyed a great dinner there. I would recommend that you get there early because it fills up quickly. We arrived shortly after 4:00 p.m. and by the time we left the place was packed and there were people waiting to get in. The food was excellent. The quantities were great. You will not go away feeling hungry. The service was good and the staff were friendly.
Absolutely enjoyed my meal here. My server was incredibly kind and helped me decide my meal.
For appetizer i got half a dozen oysters, all were delicious and fresh. I ended up getting the Mediterranean grouper that was on special, it was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, really tasty, wasn't crazy about the rice that came with it though, rather dry. The broccoli was perfectly cooked!
Desert was probably the biggest highlight, I got the brownie sundae with coffee ice cream and it was seriously amazing! I would come back everyday for that!
Overall definitely a place I'd come back to if work brings me around!
Wonderful local gem focusing on fresh seafood. The smoked fish spread was savory with a kick- perfect. The flake was delicate and delicious. The oysters were so fresh and tasty.
We started with the clam chowder and fish dip. They were both delicious and generous portions to say the least. Bread is served hot and goes well with the dip.
Had the salmon avocado sandwich, flavorful and also huge.
Great food paired with friendly service.
Definitely coming back soon.
