Wonderful local gem focusing on fresh seafood. The smoked fish spread was savory with a kick- perfect. The flake was delicate and delicious. The oysters were so fresh and tasty.

Best fish in Sarasota! What makes this place unique is the different sauces they serve their fish over. Sooooo yummy! We had the mahi and flounder. 10/10 recommend for both! Also, shout out to Jennifer for being a super attentive and kind waitress! She’s great!

Was recommended by hotel staff and a random guest who shared his favorites. I went with his suggestion of Halibut and mushroom risotto and it slapped 10/10. I ate at the bar and must say the staff make this a fun and enjoyable place for great food and drinks. I feel I got very “Lucky” with this one!
We ate at Lucky Pelican today. It was Really good. We ate outside, we were basically in the former parking area, but somehow it didn't matter. It was nice.
We were greeted by the hostess nicely sat immediately as they just opened. Rose was our waitress and she was on point! All staff wore masks.
The Lucky Pelican is a great restaurant. The fish spread is the best! I have never had a meal that I didn't love. The sauces on the fish dishes are unique and delicious. Heather is fantastic! Highly recommend!
You could easily tell that this was a local favorite joint. Great food, with nice big portions. I filled up on the pre-dinner bread they brought to the table so now I have a nice lunch for tomorrow too! The Lobster Bisque was to die for!
