We were up in the area and decided to try this place out and we were not disappointed. Head sushi chef David was wonderful company and was very accommodating and made me a longstanding favorite, my Toro Boat, and it was a much welcomed treat. We had miso ramen, the Pink Lady, the Sushi Burrito (highly recommend), veggie tempura, and a classic spicy tuna roll. Everything was fresh, delicious, very well portioned, and the presentation was what you would expect at a great Japanese joint. We will definitely be back!
So Fresh and Yummy! We stopped by to get a snack. That quickly turned into a full on meal. There are so many rolls and other food to choose from. The sushi chef was really nice and chatted with us for a while. Service was great and food was even better! We will definitely be back again soon to try more food. I'm especially excited to try the ramen. There are about four different types. There are zero other ramen places in the area. I'm sure it'll be just as good judging by the sushi.
Located in a small stripe mall off the 15 fwy. Plenty of parking available. Came on a Saturday evening amd was nicely greated by the work staff. We were seated promptly and our drink orderd taken. The restraunt had a few televisions with MLB games playing. It was clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. The menu had a good selection of appetizers, noodles, entrees and sushi. We noticed the rolls were broken down by price. Rolls had good descriptions of what ingredients were inside and out. Felt the menu items were alittle on the high side but the food came out quickly and tasted very good. Waitress checked on us often and kept our drinks full. I would definitely recommend this little sushi restaurant to anyone looking for tasty sushi!
Such a cute quaint little place!!! I wanted sushi and this place was opening in 10 minutes. First time here. We were greeted very nicely and sat at the sushi bar area. Pleasant atmosphere and great food!!!!
Arrived about 5 minutes after opening. They were a little behind getting all set up so we waited about 5 minutes before being asked about drinks.
I got the Heart attack sushi roll. 4, big, deep friend rolls . Each wrapped in jalapeños. It was really good. Not a lot of flavor though. The cream cheese drowns out most flavor. The deep fried crunch was good!
She got the Vegetable yakisoba noodles. Noodles were perfectly cooked and the vegetables delicious. It has curry in it which wasn’t listed and that was a disappointing flavor. Not a fan of Curry at all but others might be. If you like curry then you will love this dish. It wasn’t our favorite flavor profile .
Soooo good! Me and my mom came here for some dinner and was delish! Do recommend to come here!
Update: Sansui just opened back up 7/15/21 after being closed for 1-1/2 years due to Covid. Chef David is back and ready to serve. The New menu just came out. The rest still applies. Stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. They always give you a nice greeting. They are friendly and answered all my questions. Clean with great family friendly service. I notice a lot of regular customers keep coming back. I highly recommend you try it.
Our favorite sushi restaurant in Riverside county. The owner David is amazing. Fair prices and phenomenal food.
