Went for a quick lunch today after our friends had recommended this place to us! We were not disappointed! The vibe is a little small with a bar so I imagine this place gets packed during busy hours! Service was fantastic! They start you off with some home style tortilla chips and some amazing salsa! We both ordered the Cadillac Margarita; those were great! My wife ordered the Al pastor, barbacoa and Baja fish tacos and I ordered the carnitas, filet mignon (not always available) and the barbacoa! All of the tacos came out unique in toppings and the flavors of each protein were just wonderful! The portions are perfect size! Definitely, if you’re in old town Lake Elsinore and looking for some incredible Mexican food with an authentic flavor, this is the jam! Can’t wait to come back! First time here for a late lunch & sadly probably won’t return. Trying to do our part and support small restaurants. Incredibly empty, but they still didn’t get the order right. Didn’t bring my wife’s food. Only 3 or 4 tables with one gentleman behind the bar & taking orders and one additional waitress. My advice write it down. Wrong items & missed items when you’re busy is possible. When there is no one it is just bad service. By the time my wife’s order came she had already had some of mine & filled up on chips and guac. So she just packed it right up to go. The food wasn’t bad but service was the turnoff. With so many Mexican options we will go elsewhere. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the food wasn’t bad.

Their menu has changed drastically, unfortunately for the worst. Everything we loved about this place is no longer on the menu. If you're going to order a draft beer with your appetizer or meal they charge $9.00 for a pint glass ( 16 ounces ). Really guys $9. We go to craft brewery restaurants where they brew their own beer and it's only $7-$8 for a pint or a 22 ounce pour. We loved this place at one point. We won't be going back.

Had the best burrito selection in California but removed all but two. Its been closed for 2 months because of vandalism or construction from what the new notice in the window said. I drove all the way down there because they changed their online hours after being closed for two months to open but when I got there the sign said they were still closed due to construction. I've been going here for 35 years but cutting out the bakery and making a bar, raising prices and taking out the best things on the menu...... I wont be back. Good luck
