First of all, the young man who was serving us was super friendly and made it such a relaxed, enjoyable experience for all of us. Based on other recommendations from different sources on the internet, we decided to go here instead of Star Noodle right across the street, which was booked up. I have no idea why Fu Lin isn't completely full for meal times. I 100% recommend this place for really good Chinese food. If you want noodles, don't fight the crowds!! Come here and get delicious authentic Chinese noodles! The view of the sun setting on the horizon was beautiful, we had the whole place to ourselves aside from some locals, the food was so well flavored, and it wasn't overly pricey. We will go out of our way to come here again!! I recommend: The pan fried fish with black bean sauce (boneless, crowd pleaser, nice moist white fish) - my kids loved it especially. Server recommended. Fried rice - house was great but any of them will have great flavor Sweet and sour pork The noodle dishes are delicious too. We were a little unsure about whether to come here because it was empty when all other places were busting at the seams, but take my knowledge of this hidden gem as my little gift to you before the masses catch on. You will have peaceful, beach view, delicious meal. You won't regret it.

We have been coming to Maui for over 20 years and never stopped by before tonight and we are so glad we did. The family that owns and runs the restaurant are amazing. All the dishes we ordered were very fresh and delicious. Pot Stickers, Won Ton Soup, Shrimp Fried Rice, Roasted Garlic and Chicken, General Tso's Chicken (non spicy) and one mean Mai Tai. Highly recommend this wonderful establishment.

We chose this restaurant because it was a family owned, local spot + we love Chinese food. The owner and the staff are extremely friendly and cater to your requests. The recommendations for food were spot on. We had the chicken fried rice and Mongolian beef. No pictures to this review because we were too busy eating and not a speck of food remained on our plate. Lovely atmosphere on the patio. Food is very authentic and best part: NO MSG! In every meal! Highly recommend choosing this as your go to Chinese restaurant when visiting Maui.

Great authentic food. We stopped by after getting tired of eating touristy overpriced food in Lahaina and Kaanapali. The service was kind and genuine. We ordered pot stickers which resembled soup dumplings, ginger scallion fried fish, garlic chicken, and combo fried rice. The chicken in garlic sauce is the best chicken dish I’ve ever had at any Chinese restaurant. The quality of the ingredients and the authenticity of the flavors is outstanding. The prices are on par with nearby restaurants.

Highly recommend this restaurant for their traditional chinese cuisines and fantastic view around the sea shore. We are fascinated about the local seafood and ordered five traditional chinese entrees and one appetizer on Chinese menu (some English explanation on it). We ranked the dishes as below. 1. Fried dumplings with veggie inside (5 stars, I notice most people would like to order spring rolls but i would say fried dumplings are better) 2. Squid with pickled vegetables (4.5 stars) 3. Sauteed beef with black pepper (4 stars) 4. Fried shrimps (5 stars, crispy and juicy, a liitle bit pepper powder on the shell and might be spicy. Ask for mild or no spicy) 5. Sauteed sliced fish (5 stars, one of the best dishes in their restaurant ) 6. Eggplants with garlic sauce (3.5 stars, it's okay and the owner said there is another version and might be better) To summarize, this is my first time to maui island and try several top rated thai restaurants on the island. To be honest, they are overrated and have bad service manner. Compared to these restaurants, definitely i will come back to Fu Lin next time i come to maui island for their food and sea-view.

I'm so glad we chose this spot for Chinese! Everything was delicious and fresh and prepared quickly too! The garlic chicken, Kung Pao chicken, egg fried rice were delicious. They even specially made me spicy squid with black bean sauce which was amazing!

The food here was soooo good! Our server was great about suggesting menu items that would go well together, too. Huge portions so we definitely got our money's worth. We can't recommend Fu Lin enough!

Fu Lin serves authentic Chinese to Lahaina. Try the Purple Eggplant Sichuan, tender, delicate flavors- we loved it! Also delicious; beef chowfun, garlic chicken, and garlic bok choy. White rice was perfect. Outside table had gorgeous oceanfront and sunset view. Service was efficient, we had to request chopsticks, would be nice if they asked. Arrive early for walk-in. Take outs appeared to have good timing. Comfortable tables, and you feel like you’re in China with a Lahaina sunset.

Had a meal during my son’s spring break, on the 10th. Even though there were few customers, it maintained a lively mood through the use of the neighboring tavern’s live singing. There were only 2 people, mother and son, as well as two cats working at the time of this review and they were all very friendly therefore the service was great. We ordered the Yangzhou fried rice, the eggplant in Szechuan sauce, the beef hot-pan, and the seafood tofu. The food is excellent considering that this restaurant is in Maui, with inadequate resources to make every dish as you’d expect in mainland US. We are very happy and we’ll dine in here again if we ever come to Maui again.

Great lunch experience with vegetable fried rice, sizzling spicy shrimp, Wonton soup and veggie eggs rolls. We would definitely come back. Everything was delicious!
