While on vacation in Maui we stood at MKV which Castaway Cafe is located on property which has a prime spot to enjoy breakfast, brunch, dinner and yes dessert and meet for a beer or a specialty drink while enjoying the great food and service and most of all breathtaking Sunsets or just to Zen Mahalo!

Beautiful location looking on the coastline. There is indoor and outdoor dining. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you Nicole for the wonderful service. My wife and enjoyed the view with Breakfast.

Cute Cafe on the waterfront. Casual, friendly, and tucked within a resort. A good place for families. Food not exotic but fresh and tasty. We were served very quickly as well. There was some nice live music going at early dinner which was a nice surprise.

We ate here three times on our vacation. It is a lovely restaurant right on the beach with nice ocean breezes and a water view. For lunch we ordered the Asian chicken salad and the cheeseburger. The salad had great flavor but the chicken was extremely dry and tough. The cheeseburger was solid and the fries were my favorite on Maui. Drinks were tasty, we ordered a lava flow and I asked for a mud slide which wasn’t on the menu but she was happy to make it for me. For dinner we ordered the fish tacos and fish and chips. Both were yummy. Our last meal here was breakfast, we ordered the Kaanapali omelette and short rib Benedict. We ate on the very outside of the restaurant where the birds were EXTREMELY aggressive, walking on the table and flapping around us which was pretty unpleasant. This only happened outside though. The food came really quick. Overall the restaurant has good food but it didn’t blow us away. We would come back especially if staying close by.

Excellent food. Friendly service. Beautiful views. We came for Easter Brunch/Breakfast and got the Crab Eggs Benedict and the Short Rib Loco Moco. Both were excellent. I also got POG juice. The pancakes at the neighboring table looked excellent. They have a bar that's open into the evening.

Castaways is a regular hang out for us. It sits right on the water with great views for many of the tables. Service is very good with server’s coming often to fill coffees, waters and checking in. One of the best breakfast meals was the lemon ricotta pancakes to die for…. Unfortunately it’s not on their menu any longer. I have had the Eggs Benedict (average) and the Loco Moco (good)

Been here thrice … and I personally think this place is underrated !! Yes, some of the staff can be a little rude sometimes ( especially the old lady at the reception , but she is like that with other staff as well, so that evens it out ), but others are sweet like a sugarcane like Tracy and Noah ! Food is well priced, cocktails are pretty amazing highly recommended their mimosa with guava juice ! The portions are single serving and not huge plates like other place but everything is so well cooked and tastes fresh ! Ambience is pretty laid back and great place to do visit any time . Kudos !!
