As a huge fan of French cuisine, I decided to stop by Brussels Bistro on a Saturday night to taste their french/Belgian dishes and I was not disappointed!!. The escargot was perfect!. The other dishes were also excellent, and the service was exceptional. Since I didn't have a reservation (rookie mistake, especially on a holiday weekend) I had to eat on a somewhat bar table outside, which wasn't too bad, so I can't comment on the atmosphere/ambiance inside the restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend Brussels Bistro and I would come back again.
Food was pretty good. Plates came out super fast. Unfortunately, our server was brand new and could not answer a single question about anything from drinks to food. Probably would’ve enjoyed a little more if we could’ve gotten recommendations and had some questions answered. Was very loud inside (downstairs) with the kitchen ringing the bell and the bussers throwing dishes around.
Very pleased. Outdoor hostess was accommodating and helpful, the food was great and the server was fantastic as well. We had the oysters, hangar steak, beet salad and Brussels app (which was best we ever had being Brussel sprout snobs). Just passing along the small business positive vibes. Well run establishment with respectful and talented people. And we are from the east coast so this was nice to see….Go Laguna….

Great atmosphere. Outdoor dining is available. Casual yet elegant. The wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great portions of delicious and comforting Belgian food. The French fries starter is great to share around the table. We had the meatballs with a side of fettuccine and the carbonara. I would come back.
Food was great went with two family so sampled a lot of the menu. Had the Hanger steak, Ceasar with grilled chicken, Pork Shank, Boeuf Bourguignon and sides. Kids had Mac and cheese, grilled chicken and meatballs. Kids gave a thumbs ups to their food. Service was ok but it was the waitress first day. Missed a few item, brought a few items that we didn’t order. Meals didn’t come all out as one but the food was worth the long wait.
I've reviewed here before, but because Yelp is letting me, I'm doing it again!! Cannot say enough nice things about Brussels Bistro. Will continue to be one of my favorite restaurants. The Brussels Sprouts and Eacargot are always out of this world!
This was an interesting place to eat. Tucked in under and around an art gallery, we almost missed it but I'm glad that we didn't. Laguna is one of my favorite places to visit and this didn't disappoint.
The servers and service staff was helpful and nice. The food was great (even though they served fries with mayonnaise dip...I don't understand but some would like it)
I had the Salmon and cauliflower au gratin which tasted flavorful and didn't over fill me.
If I am in the area again, I will definitely keep this spot in mind for good places to eat around town.
This place was quite good . The service was great , friendly and always attentive and smiling making me feel comfortable and giving me the best recommendations from their Menu. I ordered Shrimp 🍤with Garlic that was delicious , bread on the side to deep on the buttery garlic juices , I also have the salad with mussels. Really good combination . The waiter was really nice and the bartender was very attentive as well when he brought my beer . I can tell they have good management . enjoyed my meal , the nice weather and that tourist vibe when you go places you haven’t been even though we are from Around the Area .. We just love going to Laguna Beach 🏖
Very cool place and amazing food. Mussels are superb!!! Beat salad is tasty! Beer? Mmmmm.... Beer!!!! Excellent!!! I love everything that I ordered. My husband loved his fish dish, but said that onion soup was not onion soup, but something else. I didn't taste it, so I have nothing to say about that soup. Maybe Belgian soup is different from French onion... He insisted I mention it. So be aware the onion soup they have maybe different from you expect. As of the place and the experience - I highly recommend it. Oh, and, service is very good as well.
