Wendy's

I am always impressed with the dedication of service at this location. The restaurant is very clean and the food is correct far more frequently than other similar restaurants in the area. The employees are friendly and many are committed. I have been aware of some management difficulties in the past regarding matters of the human resources variety, however I understand that this location has been under new management for a little while and the outlook has appeared to have improved even in a short time. That being said, it is important to remember how stressful commercial kitchens can be given the heat, pace, and demanding consumers. Employees are paid as well as can be expected in the current political climate. I continue to have hope, not for the sake of Wendy's as a company or even "fast food" as an industry, but for the sake of the people who choose to make a living out of serving others. All in all, this Wendy's on 38 is among the highest quality fast food in the area and they manage that despite very high volumes due to many factories in the vicinity. Have pride and continue to strive!

I was just in there and the cute man at the register, (they said his name was Johnathan) was so nice, they were very busy with drive through, had a huge family in front of us, a very rude and impatient doordash driver, a few tables in the dining room, and a line wrapped around the building. I work in the food business myself and I know how stressful it can be. He remained very positive and very sweet throughout the entire time I was there, even despite the rude doordasher. He made our entire experience so great!

If you’re a delivery driver and have more then one older, the owner of ALL the Wendy’s here in Lafayette thought it’d be a bright idea to make you pick up one order and deliver it before getting the other one. So it not only makes it harder on the drivers and their cars. We also get texts complaining on how long the second order is taking. It will not allow us to put delivered on the first order and makes it to where you have to pick up BOTH orders before leaving the restaurant. If you’re a delivery driver in Lafayette Indiana. Either don’t accept two orders from the same location or just steer clear of Wendy’s period.
