Gary's continues to be the best plate lunch, breakfast, and burger option in the area. You won't find more flavor or quality anywhere else. I lived across the street for a few years, and have had pretty much everything on the menu. Nothing but great options no matter what you choose. This free town neighborhood gem is never to be slept on!

I must say, this is one of the best burger joints I've eaten at in a long time. The service was exceptional, and the food was mouthwatering and so fresh!!! Oh, and let me tell you, the food came out so fast it was unbelievable. I had to do a double take!!! Great job, you guys!!!! 10/10

Great plate lunches weekly and hamburgers. This is an 80 year old establishment that was originally a neighborhood grocery store turned restaurant. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. If you want to experience a typical Lafayette plate lunch place you should visit for breakfast or lunch

So lucky to do my research and find this place!! Us Texans come to Laffy once a month to eat. I had shrimp stew, and better half had fettuccine..... We have a permanent plate lunch location from now on!!! Thank you to the fabulous folks at Gary's!!!

Can’t believe I’ve gone 23 years in Lafayette without having tried Gary’s until today. Generous servings, tasty south Louisiana cuisine, unbeatable prices, and an exceptionally friendly staff. God bless those guys

My boyfriend took me here for the first time, he got the shrimp stew and I tried one of the loaded burgers. Oh My God it was sooo good. Both finished all our food. The have a wide selection of beverages and chips and even have delicious homemade cookies! Definitely Gonna stop by once a week. They have different plate lunches through the week.

Friendly service, delicious food, and quick. Their plate lunches always looked so good, I finally was able to make a stop to try it out, and it did not disappoint. Definitely coming back to try their other plate lunches.
