The food was great, but the server made the experience 100x better. He had the best personality, and customer service skills. He was very informative on the menu. All recommendations he gave us were spot on. I can’t remember what his first name was, but our receipt says Mcgino.

Great atmosphere, service was beyond amazing! Jerimie was our server and he was prompt, happy and catered to our every need. The food was phenomenal. We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone we know!

This is my husbands favorite restaurant, the service is always fantastic and they are really good about bringing the food to you in a timely manner. We went with a party of 14 and the server was on top of getting us drinks and bringing out our food. Everyone was stuffed and happy!

Went to dinner with my fiancé last night and just like all the times before, the experience was amazing! Our server was Zach and he was helpful, attentive, friendly, and overall one of the best servers we’ve had! Sushi Masa Lafayette is our go to spot, wether it be for a special occasion or a simple date night. The food, the service, the people, everything is wonderful. And thank you again Zach for making our night the best it could be!

Being fairly new to Louisiana, we ordered sushi online from Sushi Masa, having heard it was great. Well, there was good and bad. The good is that the sushi and seaweed salad were very good. The bad, unfortunately, is that the order that I received was not our order. I'm sure we'll order from Sushi Masa again one day, but we'll be sure to confirm that the order is correct before leaving the restaurant.

This place has been highly recommended to me for a couple years now and I finally was able to visit. It was AMAZING! The atmosphere was lovely and our waiter was wonderful. As I mentioned, this was my first visit, so I had some questions. He was very kind, courteous and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend it.

The food was beyond delicious! You can tell that the chefs care a lot about the food that they are preparing. And our server Kylie was kind and attentive. (:

Love this place!!! Loved the tuna tataki, baby tiger roll, unagi (eel), Kani Naruto rolls were very refreshing to eat in between each order. My husband loved the teriyaki red snapper. It was grilled perfectly and the teriyaki sauce with some of the best he's ever had! For an all-you-can-eat place the quality of the food is really good!

The rice was a little dry but it had lots of meat which makes up for the dryness. Everything else was perfect. Restaurant was busy the service was still great.

Update: August 2023
Prices increased because they added more items on the menu. Dinner is now $32.95 and I think lunch is $20.95. I tried the takoyaki and did not care for it. It’s cut in half instead of served like the normal ball shape and only three pieces come per order. Wish it had more squid than batter, but the crispness isn’t bad. Still a great place to eat even with the prices increase! Taylor was my server this time, and he was absolutely phenomenal! Great mannerism, work ethic, and time management. Would highly recommend Taylor as your waiter!!

When I’m craving for sushi and am hungry, this is my go-to AYCE spot! Service is good, and the fish is clean. I love the salmon skin salad, eel cone rolls, combination fried noodles, mango salmon, yellowtail jalapeño, tuna tataki, green mussels, and alllllll the sashimi. The soups aren’t that good so I wouldn’t really recommend. Also pass on the shumai. It reminds me of the frozen kinds you get from the grocery store. Very small too. Overall, I love this location!
