Excellent service with very good food. My wife had soft shell crab special. it was well prepared, not greasy and flavorful. I had the oyster spagetti. While i felt the oysters were a little overcooked -- many people may like it that way. The salads were light and flavorful -- not weighted down with too much dressing. Several items on the menu were equally tempting.
The real down side is that the building is drab and showing its age. It barely looks like an open restarant from the road. Inside the dark interior, the badly painted black ceilings could not hide the noticavly worn furniture.
Clearly, people are coming for the food. My wife and I are in our early 60s and felt like the children in the place.

Love this restaurant!! The food is amazing! Love the lunch and dinner menu. We went for lunch and they give you a free soup or salad with your meal. The spinach and tasso bisque is so flavorful! Paired so good with the homemade free bread! Service was great!!! I got the small crab cake with a side of pasta with imonelli sauce! DELICIOUS! My friend got the oyster spaghetti with shrimp and it was so good! Definitely recommend everyone should come eat here!! Love the staff!!

Brought my wife here for our anniversary. Make sure you call in and make a reservation. Not a super large space. But the food was amazing. We had crab cakes, seafood crepes, shrimp spaghetti, seafood tortellini, peach Napoleon and the parfait. Everything was delicious.

We went to iMonelli to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated because the hostess was clearing and setting tables. Our server seemed new and somewhat untrained for the type of service we expected for this restaurant. She was friendly and was eager to do a good job, but made a few blunders that could have been avoided if she had had a little more time to polish her skills. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was dated and a little too dark.

There was a 45-minute wait due to being short staffed, but well worth it. The Soft Shell Crab appetizer was delicious. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection and so tender. I apologize for the dark photos. I didn't want to ruin the ambiance with a huge flash.

Overall, a good restaurant. Cozy with good friendly service and solid food. Good selection of menu options. Love all their crab meat apps(soft shell crab, crab cakes, crab and artichoke). I'm not a fan of their "filets", wish they were properly trimmed and a bit higher quality because their sauces they finish the steaks with are delicious. I would most definitely come back but would order something else.

Delightful luncheon with four ladies! Lovely table setting and nice quiet restaurant. The food was amazing. We had Eggplant with Shrimp and Crab sauce and fantastic green beans! Definitely recommend this restaurant! We found it a little cold and just a little too dark but other than that we were very pleased.
