T-coon's Restaurant

I came to Lafayette and found good people and good food. Tcoons sausage was top shelf and the staff kind and prompt. Coming from Arizona I was excited to meet real Cajuns. Many thanks for the spices too ! Already made my eggs with them. It’s a good spot to eat no matter where you’re from. T-coons for life

Oh man this place is top tier! Heidi was our waitress and she walked us through her favorite plates and was just so attentive even when the place filled up! The food was… I mean it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a very very long time. The brisket omelette is massive and to die for! Not to mention our first time here and they gave us a free bottle of “the stuff” their seasoning blend and its msg free and delicious

Good was your traditional options. And its simple menu (small or large portions) leave little room for error. I got a shrimp and catfish combo with side of fries and potato salad. The potato salad was delicious and tastes homemade. The fried shrimp and catfish was great. The fries were a miss, I’d get a different side than fries. It’s confusing when you walk in… do I seat myself? Do I walk down the “buffet line”? I stood visibly confused for a bit before someone asked what I wanted to order while just aimlessly standing there… overall food was good, service could’ve been better.

First overnight and visit to this restaurant in Lafayette, Louisiana. Me n w/ my fellow fa during the last day of this 4 day flying sequence was looking through one of our FB posts n reviewz from other crew members who had overnights here. The restaurant is jus a lil bit of a walk from the hotel we stayed in but very close to active traffic. After seeing a personal review from another aviation employee, we decided to order the beignets, which were a nice treat. We both ordered the breakfast deal. It was a lil' different from what I'm used to, but definitely give it a try for yourself if you're ever in the area. The cajun seasoned side gravy was a nice lil addition to my side biscuit that came w/ my meal.

This is the best dining experience I have had in a restaurant thus far. The owner was exceedingly kind. We had the lunch menu and were pleased with the food. The beignets, which I had wanted to try since watching princess and the frog, were excellent and beat my expectations! Make this a stop on any trips nearby!! The food is worth it but the service is even more worth it!!!
