The Grill On Main

Dined here last night while staying in the area for a few days and had an enjoyable meal. The service was very friendly, just a bit rushed, so that's my only feedback. Maybe they're used to people being in a hurry... but we weren't. We didn't have a wait to be seated and the food arrived quite fast... but was still a decent meal overall.

The Grill on Main has been a favorite of mine for many years. I've had both lunch and dinner there many times and I highly recommend it. I love going to Old Town La Quinta for many reasons--the charm, the ambiance, the interesting shops, and the different restaurants for great food. The Grill on Main ranks high in all these categories and I've never been disappointed with anything. The food is excellent, the ambiance is great, and the owners and staff are very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Consistency is important when dining out and I have found The Grill on Main to be as consistent as a restaurant can be. I also love the fact that the restaurant is dog-friendly; being a dog lover, it's fun seeing different dogs behaving so well on the spacious outdoor patio. The inside of the restaurant is lovely too--decorated very nicely with a great bar with a wide-screen tv as well as having more intimate tables. The atmosphere both inside and out is very pleasant and conducive to having a good time. As mentioned above, I've never been disappointed with anything any time I've been to this lovely restaurant--try it and I think you'll feel the same!

Excellent salmon with carrots and quinoa entrée. Creme Brule is amazing! Great happy hour in the bar or at the high-top section on the outdoor patio. The steak with onion and blue cheese is flavored just right. Super nice restaurant, always professional and willing to go above and beyond. Totally recommend!
