Outback Steakhouse

The hostess didn’t seem to want to do their jobs. There wasn’t any welcoming communication. The server was very nice. She was extremely helpful but that first intro sucked. Also, the bathrooms are horrendous. I’d understand after a full busy day but we arrived at 1130. They opened at 1100. There is no excuse for the toilets to be as gross as they are and the sinks to be caked with nasty stuff. If the bathroom isn’t cleaned properly, how can we expect the workers to clean the kitchen properly. It’s not even stocked! Food was okay. Lots of stuff missing due to “shortages”. I understand the COVID related issues but these concerns should be addressed up front. It should be part of the introduction. Anyway, this was nothing more than a reminder as to why I only eat at mom and pop local spots and avoid chains.

Had a wonderful dinner with a party of 4 this past Wednesday! I ordered the Gingerbread Martini, alongside a juicy 8oz sirloin. Being a neighborhood regular of this establishment, I have never received such great service as I did the other day. My cocktail was super delicious, and the steak arrived at the temperature that I desired---nonetheless, in an adequate time frame. Compliments to a great server, Brittani! The restaurant appeared to be super busy, yet-- her hospitality was what I consider "top-notch", and my colleagues agreed. Brittani handled our table with a perfect display of relaxed competence!--Well done! Friendly environment, awesome service, and (clean bathrooms too)! Yum! Can't dine here enough!

May 14,2022 - Our waiter Landon was super in waiting on our party of 11. He was super in making sure our drinks we refilled and our food order were up to our standards. He was very polite and engaged with his customers. I have been going to the LaPlata Outback for years and have not had any bad experiences. Patience is the key especially when we were in the pandemic. Thanks Landon for making our dinner a pleasant one. Great Job!

Food was tasty, like most places, but the service was impeccable! Drinks never got empty and food was delivered at the perfect time. The amount of attentiveness given to our table was greatly appreciated. Our server was Brianna K. She was outstanding. Will definitely dine here again because of the service alone.

The experience on Friday night was absolutely wonderful. Michelle our server was phenomenal as always and Summer the manager did a splendid job assuring us we will be very well taken care of, and we were. And I will not forget Taylor, another manager that made sure that our credit was put on the book for when we came in next time. My steak was cooked perfectly and that NEVER happens at any restaurant. Shout out to the cook. 😊

The overall experience was great! I found the steak to be so much better than Texas Roadhouse steaks. Cameron the server was attentive and did a great job. I would have given my experience a five but I found the music to be too loud and found it difficult to hear the person across from me. We asked for it to be turned down; but eventually the volume increased, and it became difficult to hear the person across from me again.

Was visiting my friends down in MD and we all went out to dinner here. I was so pleased with our night that I felt compelled to write a review. Tony the manger was great and checked on our meal and our experience. Carla our server went out of her way for us and was so attentive. In these crazy times it was so nice to be treated well and the food was great! Thank you all for a great experience!
