We just moved from the city and we've been missing our last favorite spot, but this is way better! Some of the best Indian food I've ever had on only the first visit. Literally every single thing we ordered came out tasting fresh, seasoned to perfection, and hot. This is definitely a gem in La Plata and we are so glad that we tried this place out. Also, we ordered 4 appetizers, cocktails, 2 main courses, and bread as well as 2 orders of samosas and 2 mango lassis to go and it was just over $100, this place is a bargain and worth every penny. The owner also introduced himself and he obviously takes pride in this great restaurant- he was warm and genuine- we appreciated the hospitality and are customers for the long run. I had a freshly made mango lemonade that was refreshing and good. I also had the lamb makhni with a roti. Everything was absolutely delicious. The roti is bland by itself. However, when drizzled with the sauce from the lamp, it's so delicious 😋
Just WOW! Where to start moving from DC to MD I didn’t think we’ll find another great Indian restaurant. Boyyy was I wrong .My husband & I ate here 3x already but we did take out which was still amazing. Since the little ones were in school we decided to do a quick lunch date & sit inside this time. AMAZING! Okay . The drinks were good I had a strawberry Margarita & my husband had the Moscow Mule both delicious. Appetizer we shared the chicken lollipops. Main course we both shared goat and lamb (so much flavor) my taste buds were dancing. We can’t forget the naan bread the garlic butter flavor..my goodness our stomachs were so full we took a mid day late nap.
I want to say that the service was excellent, but 'service' isn't the right word because we were treated more like guests than customers. The food was amazing. We asked for recommendations based on our diet/palate, and both dishes that we were given were spot on. The vegetable samosas were divine, also. If you're thinking about trying out this restaurant, just do it!
This is restaurant was fantastic. A group of us went to take one of our coworkers that was leaving. The food is very good as this was the first time I had it, My salmon was tasty and delicious. The gentleman that assisted us was very patient with us to decide what we wanted to order. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. It was a great experience.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Charles county, MD! The food is amazing, and the service is always personable and kind. I'm a vegan, and they have many options, clearly identified on the menu, for various dietary requirements. In addition, everyone is knowledgeable and can make adjustments. I frequently go in at lunch time, and when I do, they'll add vegan items to the buffet for me!
Mrs. Punita made my first time experience a dream!! Everything was delicious. The customer service was excellent very attentive . They explain everything and was very helpful. My wife n I enjoy everything we even ordered dessert. Thank you again for a wonderful time. We will be back soon. 😘😀
