Despite hearing that the Tamales were small I thought they were very good size and good price. They were delicious, and the pork has very good flavor. We ordered dinner and then had to go back and get a dozen tamales.
Service was awesome. Food was good! Highly recommend this place.
My daughter loves baria tacos and she heard this place had them so she made me go get some. I'm glad she did. Best Mexican food in the valley. The guy behind the counter , which I'm sure is the owner, is super nice. He is usually by himself but I promise you the little wait for the food is worth it. My new favorite restaurant.
Even after having spent months at a time in Mexico in years gone by, this tiny restaurant had the BEST food we have ever eaten...bar none! Their menu is extensive and the food is fresh. It is primarily carry out, but we sat at the one tiny table with 2 chairs available, and enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal. Even though it is located more than an hour away, we will certainly go back again.
My husband and I are from Idaho Springs CO and looked on the internet and saw the great reviews that where given in regards to this restaurant. We where extremely satisfied with their food. We will be back. The food is amazing and the freshness can be tasted with every bite. You guys have a wonderful clean establishment. Thanks again and we will be back.
This place is pretty good. Tamales were really authentic flavor. My husband had the burrito.
Dropped in to this wonderful taqueria and more today for lunch. Found it on a Google search as we were traveling through, and boy, were we lucky. This has to be the best, most authentic Mexican food I have had anywhere in the US. Frankly, it was as good as any I ever had in the 3 years that I lived in Mexico! Fair prices, attentive and friendly service. Wish them great success.
Absolutely fabulous. Great tamales. The guy at the counter on 4/23/2022 (not sure if he's the owner) was genuinely nice and interested in the trip I was going on. If you're passing through La Junta, absolutely stop here.
My family and I took a drive from Texas to Colorado to visit family. The highlight of food on our trip was this place. You MUST stop by if you are in town. Tamales and tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had. I give it three thumbs up.
What a nice surprise at the end of a day riding motorcycles! We had the biarra meat in a huge smothered burrito. It was perfect! The green chili was awesome too. We live in Denver and will have to plan a trip back just to eat here again.
