Lovely local coffee shop. Has served the community for many years. Coffee is tasty and there’s a lot of cute decoration and plants.

A quirky and laid back little coffee shop + restaurant near downtown La Jolla that’s been around for years. Their breakfast burrito is great, especially with added beans and avocado. The cortados and americanos are also really tasty. The aesthetic is pretty cool, it’s very cute, with a lot of wood tables and planters. A go-to for coffee or a quick breakfast when in La Jolla. Definitely beats The Living Room price- and flavor-wise.

What a cute and lovely place in La Jolla to enjoy a cup of coffee on a beautiful Sunday. The whole space looks like a garden house, I love love their shop style. I tried a decaf cappuccino with soy milk and my hubby ordered an americano. I enjoyed my coffee so much. When I ordered my coffee, the staff is so patient and friendly since I had a couple of special requests like decaf and soy milk. The coffee is delicious and tasty. I love it. I had a bad memory about this coffee brand from the San Diego airport, but this location is totally a different story.

What a cute coffee shop. It's been around for over 20 years and the place is filled with plants and flowers. There were a couple of walk up windows where you could order your food. The service was excellent and the staff friendly. There's a huge selection of coffees and baked goods along with breakfast items. Such a cool place and you can totally relax with a coffee with enjoying the greenery and tranquility around you. To top it off the coffee and muffins are great.

Nestled between Pearl Street and one of the best independent used bookstores in America, this place serves incredible food for breakfast and lunch, and has great coffee and tea. Very cute place to dine outdoors. You order from the window and they bring your food to you. Friendly staff and good prices. The muffin tops are unbelievable as you can see from my picture

Ambience is perfect for working. All outdoor seating right now, but there are so many lovely coves, there's a place for everyone. The staff was super helpful and welcoming, made me feel very at home. HIGHLY recommend and I will be coming back.

Love their Vietnamese coffee! Decent coffee, their breakfast and lunch menu items are simple and delicious! Great outdoor seating in the sunshine next to a cool old bookstore, close to the farmers markets on Sundays, and not too far from the La Jolla Cove. Cutest cottage/garden setting too!!!!!

This coffee shop is not only a café... But a local La Jolla institution! It is a great place for a well deserved break in your busy schedule, to sit, lounge, and relax... or simply to pick up a delicious goody to eat or drink. Located in the commercial district of LJ, and very near to the not to be missed La Jolla Cove Park, you can then do some strolling, shopping, and then finish your afternoon immersing yourself in the boundless natural beauty of this park! We highly recommend Pannikin for sure! Stop by to relax and enjoy!

Coffee is 100% Amazing!!! I got a vanilla latte and the espresso is incredibly smooth, so so good! However - their food is not so great. I got a breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, & cheese..flavorless, unfortunately. Will try again tho!
