La Dolce Vita Ristorante

Tonight's had a wonderful dining experience at La Dolce Vida Ristorante! 5 Stars throughout. From being greeted at the door till we left, we were treated like Kings and Queens. Love bread! Salad was a spinach salad with strawberries and candied walnuts. Next my wife had linguini with clams. I had a lobster ravioli and we shared an amazing gnocchi dish. Very rich and delicious! We had one chamber left for dessert. Me an amazing cheesecake, she had a cannoli! Both decadent! Amazing Italian. Everyone was friendly!

La Dolce Vita has been a family go-to for about 25 years now... I sincerely and genuinely cannot recommend this place enough. My regular selection is the "Spaghetti Pescatore" but I have yet to try something that didn't bring me to my knees in deliciousness... The definition of a 'solid choice. ' SUPERB. HEARTFELT. HOME-Y. A very European vibe to this place. It odd located in the beautiful La Jolla cove area. The service was great and the food was yummy. My son got the lobster ravioli and it was so tasty. My other son got the spaghetti with meatballs and gobbled it all up. My eggplant lasagna was divine! We’ll definitely go again!

Cozy spot in La Jolla! We really enjoyed the Penne Alla Vodka, The Italian Job Pizza, Chicken Parmigiana & Eggplant Lasagna! The truffle fries on the California Pizza were a bit cold, but the pizza itself was savory. Attentive service, and the complimentary warm bread with the sun dried tomato sauce was so delicious !!

This place has a good local Italian vibe. The waiters and staff were all attentive, the food was excellent. We got the eggplant involtini and that was really good, the blue cheese salad was just ok …Now the main courses were super good. I got the bowl of cioppino and loved it, my wife got he spaghetti with meatballs (massive balls), and that was really good. We really enjoyed our dinner and experience for a really busy place

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal last night. Gorgonzola salad for her, simple spring greens salad for me. Swordfish special for her, Grigliata Di Pesce (grilled octopus, salmon and shrimp - photo attached) for me. Generous portions, reasonably priced. Despite a large business group enjoying their dinner, our service was excellent, and the delivery of our food was not delayed. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
