First time in this place and it was a great experience. Went on a week night and place was pretty much open. Of course to be safe, we called first if there was a wait time.
We were seated right away and the menu selections offered a good variety of seafood, salads, pasta and steak.
Very nice atmosphere, soft lighting, quiet so conducive to conversations. Of course it was not at all crowded. May be a different atmosphere on a weekend.
Will definitely come back if we find our way back to La Jolla soon.
Lovely atmosphere and the seating is very comfortable. Plant life speckles the room for a relaxing experience. The tree cover outside makes it feel very pleasantly isolated from the busy streets.
My favorite, must-do dish is the Acai Bowl. It's smooth sorbet, decked out with a delectable arrangement of berries, bananas, and kiwi, topped with a light honey that doesnt overpower the flavor or texture of the rest of the dish. The granola tastes amazing and stays crunchy through the whole experience. Love it!

Decent restaurant for breakfast if you're staying at the Sheraton!
Small restaurant in the Sheraton. Had the ribeye and filet migon. Both were cooked really well. Service was wonderful.

Stayed at Sheraton and decided to check out the restaurant. The food was excellent. The prices were surprisingly very reasonable. Good selection of entrees. Did I mention the food was great. The service was pleasantly wonderful. I ordered the Lamb chops and my fiancee enjoyed the Halibut, Macadamia encrusted. Dessert was Butterscotch custard. Highly recommend. And after dinner slide over to the bar for some Karaoke.
We stayed at the Sheraton and while my husband was out at a business meeting I took my children there for lunch. The staff was friendly and everything was very clean. My 6 year old ate a chicken Caesar salad and my 4 year old had grilled cheese with French fries. My choice was the fish tacos and they were really good. We ended up getting desert too! Overall experience was great! Definitely would recommend.
The food was amazing and really reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. Usually, a $35 steak might still leave one hungry, but it was way too much to eat!
There's a wide variety of seafood, cuts of meat, etc. The calamari was quite good, but it wasn't the normal rings, rather long strips (that were cooked to perfection, not soggy at all like they usually are.)
10/10 would recommend.
This place is a hidden gem! I really wasn't expecting to be impressed after seeing they have almost no reviews. We went for breakfast and got the bread pudding French toast and the Lox&bagel. Both were so good and authentic! The service was excellent. Very reasonably priced and opens really early in the morning! Even though the menu isn't huge with endless options, the options they do have are seriously so delicious.
Mediocre food. Great service and ambiance.
