Puesto La Jolla

Been to two Puesto’s in SD. Experience and taco menu is consistent. This time I had 4 tacos (one too many). Got one for free if you sign up to their online community. Got the 1. short rib quesabirria, 2. ribeye, 3. filet mignon and 4. carnitas. All were very good and will def recommend. They have a Puesto in Santa Clara, CA in the Bay Area.

food was lovely, even for the super high price. it was amazing, best tacos ive had, everything we ate was amazing. unfortunately the staff were helpful but didnt go above and beyond, like we got dipping sauces and weren't told what each of them were. would recomend even just for a single taco, not filling but very enjoyable :)

Absolutely amazing experience celebrating my birthday with Puesto's!!! They welcomed us like family and provided superb service!!! Colton is awesome and gave us excellent service!! They gave me a birthday card signed by their team and a free sweet treat too!! Their food is incredible and so tasty!! I enjoyed the drinks and the bomb ambiance!! Wonderful time and highly recommended!!!

We stopped by for lunch, we were in the mood to try Mexican and found this place . Everything was great , I had the fillet beef taco which was amazing !! Wife had fish taco also excellent Drinks good too! Great Mexican food experience, not your fast food taco joint . This is a must try if you want Mexican food.

We went to this restaurant with a group of friends and all of us loved the food! We were first served the Molcajete and salsa, it was super fresh and delicious! We then tried veggie tacos, it was one of the best tacos we've ever had. The guacamole was very creamy and the candied walnuts added a unique twist. Definitely get this with your complimentary chips. The dessert cakes tasted really good too! I would recommend the mango cake over the pina colada cake.

I absolutely adored the tacos in Puesto La Jolla, especially the one with steak; it was truly something special, perhaps one of the best I’ve ever had. However, the service was a letdown, even though the place wasn’t even half full. There was a minor incident with my friend’s service dog who barked a couple of times due to thirst, and the manager approached our table with an unwelcoming tone, suggesting we move outside. Her attitude left a lot to be desired, and she could use a lesson or two in hospitality and how to handle guests and situations. Knowing how I would have handled it as a manager, I was disappointed. While I’d definitely return for those amazing tacos, the impatient service and rude manager might keep me away.

Came here for the first time after previously visiting other locations. This one is certainly my favorite! The atmosphere is relaxing, service was quick and great, and most importantly the food was delicious! The chips & salsa with the salsa bar is a total of only $5 and a definite must-have if you come here. The salsas are amazing! For tacos, I really recommend the Baja fish taco and the al pastor one.

We grabbed a quick light lunch here. Had to wait about 40 mins maybe due to the lunch rush. But once seated the service was quick. We got the 3 vegetarian tacos. They were alright and a bit on the sour side. We also got the Nagoda for the complementary chips that everyone liked. The horchata was refreshing and helped beat the heat.
