Dairy Queen

We come to this DQ almost weekly to get us a treat. It's our guilty pleasure. Not sure why this place gets a bad rap. Staff is always friendly and courteous, even when Karens start raising their voices. Maybe it's because of how "slow" it is. Ok so, it's not as fast as fast food should be. But have you noticed their staffing? They can barely keep up. Even the cashiers are pitching in making the food/treats Hell, one day, I witnessed one cashier just straight quit (not the same day a Karen raised her voice). Felt bad for the kid as this DQ is always busy (lines are out the parking lot and onto the street). But I do love their service, their treats, even if we have to wait an hour in the drive through for a dipped cone or a blizzard. Be kind. Most of these are high school students that work here. They deserve your best self as they're serving YOU.

The only issue I had was that the gravy was too watery, food was fresh and hot. Fries were good but felt they didn't give enough for both meals. Beside the actually place being small it a nice little Dq but for the drive thru it bad when it busy. It right across from a 7-eleven so very convenient if you want to get gas first and then some hot food. Person at the drive thru taking the order sounded like she was tired or sleepy but when we putted up to the window, she seem nice.
