Celebrated Chinese New Year and the food was amazing. Service was fantastic and very nice people.

Visiting from Seattle and I can't find egg foo young with the right gravy. This place does it right!
Delicious food with friendly waitstaff! Food arrives quickly and is higher quality than most takeout Chinese places. The white and brown rice have individual soft and chewy grains while the crab Rangoon and fried wontons are filled nicely with a golden crisp shell. My favorite is their take on Sesame Chicken. Instead of a fried coated chicken piece, these are sliced meats cooked in a sweet lightly garlic sesame sauce and served with steamed broccoli.
Best Restaurant in St. Louis for traditional American-style Chinese food. The still make their potstickers from scratch, the Manchurian beef is delicious and i rarely see anything like it at other Chinese Restaurants. They have a REALLY really friendly staff. They've stayed open past normal hours when we arrived late, and my waitress once brought me her own private stash of coffee, after i asked if there was any coffee on the menu. They have been consistently good for decades.
We have been meaning to try King Doh for years and never had. Now all I can think is all the amazing meals we missed out on! Had a wonderful fried tofu and broccoli dish - it tasted amazing - the sauce had a lovely hint of garlic, and the broccoli and tofu were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was incredibly nice and I love the atmosphere. Highly recommended. The best Chinese food I have had in St. Louis by far.
Other than the inattentive server, way way outdated decor, the food was exceptional. The menu was somewhat overwhelming however, I reviewed it prior to going to make it less daunting. Walked right in and was seated immediately. It was like walking into a time capsule....shotty repairs, taped booth seats. I had not dined here in more than 40 years and it has changed one bit.

Since moving to Des Peres from St. Louis we have been searching for a good Chinese place close by, we almost gave up until I stopped by here. Their fried rice is ON POINT, and so good, orange chicken is also amazing, it’s fresh and taste great, not mushy and drenched in sauce. This is hands down the best Chinese food in the Des Peres/ kirkwood area.
My dish was cooked well and tasted great. Food came out in 10 minutes or less and waitress was friendly. Thank you for the fun and delicious dinner!
Very good service. Very good food. Pre-ordered a large carry out order that included a special request dish. Handled professionally and ready at promised time.
Well let and maintained small waiting area with decorative chairs large tables and four tops quick service courteous staff.....fresh vegetables..and fantastic green beans.
