We saw River Street Sweets while on the Conch Train tour and immediately headed over as soon as we got off. We were greeted by friendly staff handing out samples of praline. It was so good, we walked out with a box full. The key lime pie gelato was the best we had while in the Keys that we had to come back the following night for more. We had a quick chat with the owner, Glen, before heading out - what a nice, humble man. Good luck to you and your great staff.
I've been to the one in Savannah and this one is just as good! So happy they built one in Key West, I will definitely be stopping in each year that I'm down here. The pralines and white chocolate covered Oreos are my favorite. Besides the great candy, the staff is amazing and friendly as well! 🍫🍦🍬
River Street Sweets is great! The staff are kind and friendly. They have a ton of great chocolate, candy, and ice cream. Beautiful and colorful interior. Without doubt a great candy store worth going to! Have a great day!
It’s a lot of fun. Ice cream was good had a pretty neat selection. I would recommend it. Just don’t go out of your way for it. I would love to tell you all of you go to try the Carmel corn. They make it in house and watching them do it is pretty cool. I will say the atmosphere and aroma are both very inviting. Is it something that I would put on a travel blog no. But if you’re staying for a few weeks or even live here, it’s definitely worth a try. The other thing I especially loved about. It was the air conditioning. It gets really hot in the Florida Keys. So having AC in shade is a treat on its own.
Remarkable place - great for desserts treats and all kind of sweets! The smell that fills the streets from it is out of this world. Everything is very well organized and it's easy to find exactly what you are looking for. The staff is very kind and helpful! It's expensive, but I highly recommend River Street Sweets :)
One of the best candy store I've visited. Excellent store to buy candies and other sweet stuff at Duval street.
We got the candy apple, it was good they even cut it for us,
We also asked the customer service to wash the knife before cutting they were happy to do it
I wanted to eat everything in the store.
Stopped by this candy store in Key West and WOW! What a really neat place and friendly staff. I asked Monre about a super sized treat and he took the time to explain exactly what is in it and how it is made. I could care less how much it costs it looked yummy! I bought a small bite sized chocolate caramel praline and oooo man it was good. Picked up cold water and toured the joint. It smelled like heaven and will go back before we leave the Keys to pick up some treats for the family. Awesome!
Pralines, gelato, sorbet, Ice cream, candy, candy apples. This dessert shop has a lot. The employees were very nice and friendly too.
Stumbled upon this place walking in the Keys and the choices were endless! It had something to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth!
It's funny driving 12hrs to Key West to see a River Street Sweets Candy when we live really close to Savannah, GA where the original river street candy store is. They have a wide variety of candy and ice cream. It's a good stop. We bought some over priced Key Lime Taffy that taste like regular lemon lime taffy. Really no difference. I was looking for the strongness of the Key lime. UT it wasn't there. I still give a 5 star rating due to everything else we tried was awesome. 👌
The smell that fills the streets from this place is out of this world! The homemade candies and treats are amazing. Prices are a little steep, but your in the tourist area so it is to be expected. They also have a room filled with prepackaged candies if you don’t want to wait in the line for the fresh stuff. Truly like a kid in a candy shop
