We arrived just after they opened so we were their first patrons of the day. New restaurant with very friendly owners/ staff. Saw the before picture and they did a nice job on the front patio. ( they have a rooster statue on the front patio that everyone seemed to like and had to get their picture with) . We sat inside where there is more seating along with a bar and another outdoor side patio. Very nicely decorated. We had the special- yellow fin sandwich on a roll. Very good! Also had the Lobster roll with fries. I prefer a little more mayo, but it was still delicious. Full of flavor, the fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Had sweet tea with refills. Overall great experience! Would definitely recommend. They are pet friendly too.

I visited this restaurant when they recently reopened. The food was great, although the service could be faster. The manager was very friendly and came around to check on everyone while we were there. I’d recommend The Rooster Tale as a nice dinner option!

Cowboy burger was amazing. The owner Jimmy was so nice and accommodating. Definitely a great new addition to Duval St! :)
