We were diected to this place by the good people at the nearby Pelican Waterfront Cottages, where we were staying. What a great recommendation it was! There's a nicely informal bar downstairs that does excellent bar food, and a really good restaurant upstairs which, apart from gorgeous food (I had a Jambalaya there that was every bit as good as one I'd had in New Orleans), offers a stunning view of the setting sun over the waterfront. The staff were great - really helpful and good fun with it. Thoroughly recommended.
Stopped here for dinner on day 1 of my mini vacation. We chose Bayside Grill for its menu and pricing and we were not disappointed. The food was fresh and very tasty and the service was warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place if you are wanting to experience affordable dining with an incredible waterside view. Very happy that we chose this establishment for our first meal in Key Largo.
We had a great meal, friendly service and saw a lovely sunset.
Food was nice, good quality and a good selection. Our servers were super friendly and very accommodating, really nice people.
We chose to sit upstairs in the restaurant (rather than downstairs where the menu is a bit smaller), and it gave a great view of sunset over the bay.
A great restaurant for a casual or even slightly nicer meal, would recommend a stop off if you're in the area.
Beautiful location. Windows need some sort of sun filter. It can get very hot inside. Fish tacos very good and large. Stuffed chicken just average. Seafood nachos very filling and tasty. Great mashed potatoes
Little late on my review but we we were in the area for our 30th anniversary and my husband's 50th birthday. We were looking forward to the night however the weather was not in our favor. We decided to keep our plans of walking from our resort to Bayside and they did not disappoint. It was raining and the wind was crazy but we wouldn't have wanted to spend that time anywhere else. Our food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helped us celebrate even! We even stayed after the rain for the perfect sunset. We will be back in Key largo on Sunday and will definitely be having dinner drinks and sunset here again:)
Upon arriving there was no greeting and we had to find someone to ask for a table. They finally attended us with water and menus apologizing that the host disappeared. From then on the service was better but definitely not “upscale” service to match the food prices.
For me, the appetizers stole the show. We got the ahi tuna tower and chefs special oysters.
The seafood platter was really good with the only knock being that our lobster was tiny and too tough to chew enjoyably.
Nice views from the 2nd level but everything in doors (good if you want AC).
Breathtaking view, amazing spot to watch the sunset. Staff is always very friendly, and the food never disappoints! Love the small pier as well
Great views of the water! Excellent seafood. Service was impeccable. We went around 7:30 to watch the sunset and it did not disappoint. Try the key lime apple cider for a fun beverage!
A hidden Gem! Locals only restaurant with a view to die for. We had the Havana fries, mahi tacos, a delicious blended burger, and the Jamaican shrimp. Dessert was a made on-site key lime pie and coconut cream cake. Both were unbelievable. A bit on the expensive side for some items but the quality and taste were above average. The service is something that other restaurants should strive for. Rebecca, our waitress, was an absolute joy. She walked us through the menu with optimism and genuine kindness. Even if the food hadn’t been as good as it was we’d come back just for the service. We’re still talking about how good the meal was. MUST VISIT
Had a great time here. We had an amazing dinner with a beautiful sunset view. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
