Cartozzo's dear family member use to send me a lemon filled king cake every year. He'd make it one day and it would be on my door step in North Carolina the next day. Freshest. Delicious. Lots of flavor. I've had both the cream filled and lemon -- lemon is my favorite. It has been a few years since I've ordered a king cake, but this year I'm ordering in memory of my friend.

Best King Cake EVER! Fresh and delicious. We bought it at church bake sale last night and the kids, grandparents, husband (and myself) ate half of it last night. Its rare that we find a king cake that the whole family agrees on ...this one made everyone happy! We are going to buy more and are looking forward to trying their other baked goods. Keep up the great work Cartozzo's!

Sooo dry, very little icing didn’t taste it, worst king cake I’ve ever tasted. It was a mini king cake bought inside grocery store, so not sure if that is the difference. However, it should not taste old, dry, with not much flavor. I will never waste my money on this again. And by the way I have never written a food review before so that should tell you...
