Roy's Mexican American Cuisine

If authentic, true Tex-Mex could be defined, I would define it as Roy's Mexican & American cuisine! I love coming to eat at this restaurant! It feels so cozy and warm. The service people are so friendly, it always makes me feel like I am at a family gathering. Drink selection is amazing and very affordable and I love all dishes so far! Kudos for the best chips salsa in town, also!

This place was barely ok. Half American/ half Mexican menus are not a great idea. Nothing on the table was served hot. It was warm. My son enjoyed his fried chicken and my wife liked her tacos. The Mexican food was weak. The chips were room temperature, stale and heavily doused with chili powder. The enchiladas could've been frozen. This place is not worth the very high prices.

Great location. Close to alot of other restaurants and shopping places. Atmosphere: Super cool and chill space. Love the lion fountain up front. Very clean and comfy. Food: The food was pretty good, a little cold and that's what brought me to a 3. In their defense we had a huge crowd ( that's how we roll) , and maybe the walk was a little long with only a few items. I had the enchiladas and I loved them, other than not being hot. I will come back and I will also rereview when I do if things change. Their fries are really good and they have great space for pretty much every kind of event. Parking was no issue st all they have a big lot. And I actually spoke with Roy himself. That's always lovely. I love management that steps out. Anyway....I'll be back.

Save yourself some money and go to Taco Bell! Taco Bell’s food is actually better than this expensive restaurant’s food. They gave us chips that were old and stale. When I asked the waitress to give us fresh chips, she defended them by saying “they were made today” (it was about 7:30pm and they clearly made them in the morning)... so what did they do with the chips? They just threw them into a fryer for a few seconds, so then we had over cooked chips... This restaurant used to be called El Paseo and it used to be my favorite restaurant!! Now it’s one of the worst restaurant I’ve ever seen! If you still want to go to this place, good luck. Below Applebee’s quality lol jk. Applebee’s isn’t that bad
