Zaxby's

Jeanie! Girl, you are the bomb! She acknowledged us when we walked in the door even though she was quite busy. She repeated our order back to make sure it was correct. And she had a cheerful attitude! It makes such a difference when the employees are happy because the customers are too. When my dad comes for a visit this is his fave place to eat. So today we brought him since he’s here for the week! When we pulled into the parking lot, the truck was parked out back unloading product. That’s a great sign, means we won’t be told “sold out.” And indeed, they had everything today! Except the fried pickles which corporate decided to take off the menu :( it’s okay though. We ordered the wings and things upgraded, fried cheese bites, Cobb salad without fried onions and some drinks. Everything was delicious and hot, exactly how I take my food :)

Ordered the club sandwich it was horrible. Cheese tasted like plastic and the chicken tasted like nothing at all. The service was just as bad. My order sat In the window for 5 min before I finally asked the person standing at the window if that was mine. His response was a smirk and then walking away. A minute later some girl calls out my order and practically threw the bag at me. First and last time at Zaxby's.

The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, that is the only nice thing I can say about this restaurant. First, the pop machine in the lobby was out of carbonation, so you had to ask for a refil which was difficult if they couldn't see you standing at the counter Second, the food was not fresh. My husband ordered a chicken club sandwich the cheese was cold to touch and never melted due to luke warm chicken filet, lastly, the lobby was in awful condition more than half of the tables needed to be wiped down, no napkins in either dispenser in lobby, and the drink station was sticky and gross. I hold Zaxbys to a higher standard than traditional restaurants. If you want to enjoy Zaxbys, please visit another location as this location will disappoint you.
