The Skillet's and French Toast are where this place shines! Great service in a small cozy environment. Quick service when you get seated. Sundays are busy so get there with time to spare because it's worth it! Thank you for the memories and great food and service!
Newly moved to W. Bloomfield from Chicago. This quaint place is truly a neighborhood gem and should be protected at all costs. Anything that comes off the grill will be amazing. I get the Belgian waffle with fruit on top and side of Nutella and my husband gets the hobo skillet, every time. Although, I ordered the french toast the last time I was there and it was brilliant so I might start getting that instead. But what makes this place truly one of a kind is the genuinely friendly and attentive service in a non-pretentious environment that accompanies the fab food which is hard to come by these days.
I got the veggie skillet and had enough to share with my one year old and take a whole serving home! It was really tasty and each bite was as hot as the last. My husband got the potato pancakes, they were delicious. Their sourdough toast is also very good.
The space is small, but comfortable. The staff are all very friendly. Though we didn't get any, they have fresh squeezed orange juice which I'm sure is amazing! In the warm months they have outdoor seating available too.
Great food. Quick service. Friendly staff. Breakfast skillets are amazing. Had the 3 meat one with pancakes.
Me and my husband randomly found this place via Google while in Waterford! It was awesome! We arrived around 10:45/11:00AM and there was a line of ppl waiting that stretched to the side of the building. This line and length was Portugal for the whole time we were there and we were surprised to know how popular thus place was! Even with the long lines, people were being seated within 30 minutes (when we arrived) and the service was just as fast and efficient! Food was pretty good too! Simple and homely and fast! I loved the fresh squeezed orange juice and the fa t that all the condiments were on each table already so no waiting for jams or cream or hit sauces etc. My favorite surprise with my French toast was the WARM syrup!! It was such a simple thing but made such a big difference! It was a little more crammed inside than I would have liked but it didn't detract from the service or food so not a huge deal.
Love this place for breakfast, anything you order is delicious, from the french toast to the hobo skillets, I swear the foods are all so tasty! The only down side is for being a small place you almost always have to wait to be seated. The staff is so nice, highly recommend.
